OK wait , guys please clear this up for me.

Tigs had bday party with drinks. This is allowed

Stack and Jones went to get kebabs. This is allowed.

Stack and Jones got jumped by some oppo fan and defended themselves . This is allowed

Stack and Jones got uber. Not allowed.

Is that the only breach??

Because if it is , you got cooks like Maher on sen wanting Richmond to have the most severe penalty of all time. Turn it up
They probably went to the strippers too but not confirmed.

Didn't say they deserved to be assaulted, that's drawing a long bow. I said we cant really play the victim card due to them putting themselves in that situation and be shocked that there will be consequences. Thats a fair distinction given the context here.
Looks like there are two different things at play here. They may have breached Covid protocols, but they are also seemingly victims of assault. No matter the circumstances, they can’t be responsible for being assaulted. It’s like blaming a woman for being r*ped because she chose to walk home at 11pm in a society that is supposed to protect her. They are responsible for apparently breaching protocols, but they aren’t responsible for being attacked in the street. That’s the point I’m making, and sorry if I’ve misinterpreted you. 👍🏼

Dominos?

I’d rather get punched in the head too.

I think you've seen me say 'we cant play the victim card' and interpreted that as victim blaming considering my apt description of a gold coast bogan. No harm done.

This has been an interesting thread to read.
I still think its inexcusable what they have done.
If all they wanted was a bloody Kebab, there are multiple shops that would have a relationship with Uber Eats and they could have had contactless delivery direct to the hub.

Instead, these two geniuses, hopped in an Uber at 3am after they've been drinking at the hub, gone to the local night spot and ended up involved in a fight.

Now forgive my ignorance, but how often does someone randomly walk up to you and start a punch on for absolutely no reason. Stack and CCJ aren't high profile AFL players, especially with QLD being a rugby based State, id be surprised if anyone would even take a second look at them.
Clearly something happened in the lead up.

Why put yourself in that position? So dumb.

You are wrong about that... The amount of times I've seen a drunken ****wit walk up to a group they have had nothing to do with and start trouble is astonishing ...happens all the time in nightclub strips always has

Tell that too the poor staffer who we have to cut because our soft cap is 100k less.
We don’t even know if that’s the case at this point

Collingwood will be waiting for them,I can see the media now,”Collingwood put Stack on right path”.
I for one am going nowhere near any media on this, the season is f****d enough, I don't need to sink any lower listening to their soap opera and sanctimonious ways. Listen to the Hardwick presser from last weekend... players time off (this week with the bye), mental as well as physical... boys will surf, boys will gold, bushworks, ...strip clubs. Hardwicks faults, you can see it in the news.
