RE that Ralph "Article" is just precisely the reason why I'm getting sick and tired of the media. The 2 guys stuffed up, the punishment is fair, they will learn from it, they have to learn from it, they need to earn back respect of the playing group. It's important for the club to provide support to them.

How Ralph can even be considered a Richmond man is beyond me, state the facts but FFS don't create bullshit which has no merit, as if he was talking to Dusty or Jack or any other player/staff of the club and they said "yeah I'm sick of how Cotch gets treated different to the rest of us".

Culture in question? For things that would be hardly anything in a normal season (Though serious enough in this season), piss off.

Plenty of our supporters have said kick em out of the club on the forums. You talk about doing the crime lol ... its like they got 30 years for not paying a parking ticket. The boys were attacked for no reason by a drunk. How about we defend our boys rather than throw them under a bus. Thats the Rivhmond way.

I agree !00% with you - although disappointed in what has happened, they don't deserve the vitriol being spewed at them. People need to get a grip and put it in real perspective, not the media perspective. They are being punished enough, without our own turning the heat up. The stuffed up, they know it, move on.

I would say only the two Covid breaches warranted an actual news story, everything else is proof to me of a cultural problem in todays Footy media, not our footy club.

The media are out of control. I wouldn't mind if they actually printed or stated facts but they seem to find a way to weave in the fairy tales to make it more than it should be. Look at Job Ralph - he almost has spit coming out his mouth with his latest article in the HS. He should be sued for stating lies as facts.

Where have all the ethics in media gone and are there any genuine journo's left? Its disgusting at the moment with a focus on exaggerating any Tiger story.

Like the way Gale has taken ownership of our players misdemeanours. Compare that to McChins pride and the media quickly moving on after Bucks,Sanderson tennis game and Steele being out and about. Both Pies breaches treated by media as genuine human error, and disappeared within 24 hours.

Funny how all the commentary on Richmond is how well we have recruited taking on Stack, Pickett and a whole heap of players that didn't get drafted through traditional ways. How we think outside the square, family club etc, as soon as something happens they turn like hyena's. Hypocrisy at its finest. Can't wait for Caro's arrow. In fact I can.

It goes 2 ways from here. They go on to be repeated dicks and the club ditches them and someone else picks them up for peanuts and we lose regardless.

Or, they do a Steve Johnson turnaround, work their asses off over the preseason and earn back the respect of the club and reward the faith.

If CCJ feels this is too much, he might just ask for that mooted trade. Stack is probably a little more desperate for options.
