Absolute rubbish.

This is the usual tripe fyom you. Do you really reckon wed sue our own players or even contemplate it. Contracts wont be torn up either.

Heres one more thing, if the players association jump up and down they can be taken to court not just by the club but by the fans and supporters.

Some said Stack's salary has been cut form around 150K to 110K after covid adjustments which is rich by many peoples efforts so they need to pull their head in.

Next time Stack and CCJ want to get frisky they should save themselves and I will take them over to Asunction and show some real realities about the cost and price of things!! They will not need to go into a club either because bricks and mortar is unnecessary overhead!!

Relationships are a two way street. Bullying people and treating others as a doormat is not a relationship consistent with goodwill and teammate ethos!!

Legal action is common place when other parties through your goodwill in your face!!

By the way, if your looking to pick up diamonds in seedy joints you do not go to high end joints where people have fallen. You go to low end joint where potential stars have been repressed and suffering a lack of opportunity. As youngsters, CCJ and Stack have a lot to learn from experience clearly

The players are well aware of where they can go and where they can't.
They knew what they were doing was wrong.
They have specific places where they are allowed to visit, eg: cafe near the hub, beach etc. Strippers isn't on the list and I can tell you
direct from a players mouth that they knew the rules.
I know that was just simply replying to the poster asking how no one saw them leave the hub

You'd expect he was on $85k a year last year and $5k a game (17 games in 2019) for a total of $190k and base $105k this year plus $5k a game (6 so far in 2020) for a total of $135k for 2020.
Expected income after tax (including Medicare levy) in his first year would've been around $127k and you'd expect the guy wouldn't have blown all of it, so he'd have about half of that saved ($63.5k).
In 2020, salaries were cut in half due to COVID so he'd have about $50k in 2020 after tax. He might've blown some of it on rent, clothes and food so let's say he saves about $15k.
He would have $78.5k saved up and I was being super conservative with his first year so he might have more saved up.
If we asked him to pay his fair share of the $75k fine imposed (remaining $25k suspended) he would definitely have the capacity to pay it.
Unless Stack is the most financially reckless person in the world, this Peos peanut of a manager can't make this BS up that he can't pay $37.5k. When the party starts talking about not wanting to pay it, you get the idea that they know Stack's career is cooked.
If he really thinks he's hot s**t then he'll be able to make up for it in the coming years as a potential star player, we have given this kid a chance when no one else would and dishes up this garbage.

1% minority

irrelevant

And yet women make up a huge % of our overall supporter base. Don't underestimate the importance. To diminish a section of your supporter base for such a small saving may have less support that even your good self realises.

Without a doubt a fight is brewing.

Not good for this to be played out in public.

Best case scenario would be for conversations behind the scenes to happen and RFC pay the bill. Would allow the club and everyone to save face, sweep it under the carpet and kill the story.

75K is not worth this story growing legs and dragging on for days and days.

I actually think the opposite should be done by the club. Players have too much power now days (often to the determent of the club) and I think the club as an employer should have the option to do what is best for the club. I find it really hard to stomach that the players are protected from having to pay a fine for breaking AFL rules even after the club took reasonable steps to enforce said rules.

I agree but to get a successful AFL team we need a talent pool THAT PLAYES THE RICHMOND WAY--this is super important.

AFLW has to go before our reserves.
AFL needs to step up and temporary disband the AFLW league or pay for it out of its own pocket.
Yep agreed. Unfortunately the AFL can’t bankroll the women’s competition it needs to be generating it’s own $$, and that’s not going to happen, apparently we are heading into a major economic depression.

There’ll be at least half AFL clubs that’ll need to be bailed out by the AFL over the next 5 years

98% of our women supporters would be on board for getting rid of the aflw team before the mens vfl team

Can we ban all WCE supporters from posting on our board? They’re still salty we kicked their arse last week so they’re not going to post anything of value until they’ve completed the grieving process.

Let them post, it's hilarious. Salty bitches.

The cost to AFL of running the AFLW is 20 million per year. That is a pittance given lions, suns, saints and gws all received around that amount from the afl last year.

And it doesn’t even touch on the fact that clubs with aflw teams have all experienced increased membership and sponsorship dollars due to their women’s programs.

Women’s football is simply core business for the AFL now and it isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Just reading between the lines, Stack Manager coming out, I'm sure Stacks already spoken to him it's all about saving face.

Fair call, of course he has spoken to him, we've moved on from the days of smoke signals - be on speed dial

Mate we have been in a technical recession for about the past year. GDP growth per capita has been negative since about Q1 2019 whilst our GDP growth has been positive over the same period. Effectively we were not in a recession due to immigration. We havent had one for about 30ish years and we are about to hit a very cold winter with this one.
