SA is low risk - sef-quarantine required.

NSW is medium risk - border is closed.

Wasn't he just in Victoria training at Punt Road? He could have made his way back via direct route from Melbourne to Perth with no issues. There is a lot of planning required now if you wish to travel around the country.

I feel incredibly sad for a young man who, while seemingly has the world at his feet potential wise, is struggling big time with his own inner demons, heartaches, and losses. I sincerely hope this is not the final straw and that Sydney will be able to find a way to gain the courage needed to live life rather than try to anesthetise the pain.

Toxicity comes in all sorts of packages and is not exclusive to only outside influences. When we look at things only from a fan perspective it's very easy to take the high road of self-righteous judgement, so if we can take a step back, breathe, and recognise that none of the behaviour exhibited by Sydney is a personal attack on us or the club. Perhaps we can then focus instead on sending some positive energy around expecting the best possible outcome for Sydney, instead of the massive dump of toxic energy that has been aimed his way for months and months.

I'd also like to say I feel sorry for all those who defended him in here. Don't let this be the cause of shitfights/rifts among us. Guess I won't be doing anymore Stack hilights any time soon.

If he was on his last chance after the kebab thing, this puts him way over the line.

Worse again if he has lied about his reasons for travelling to WA (to be confirmed). It would show a degree of planning and isn't just a bad decision made on the spur of the moment.

I'm hurting. Really wanted and believed he could get back to where he was.

True, but you still need to abide by the rules. WA is a lot stricter than other states so prepare to get caught out if you don't follow them.

I doubt he'll get the maximum punishment, but that would be $50k or 12 months jail. It is a pretty serious situation.

I think we’ve got plenty of perspective based on the last few months of Stack’s behaviour tbh. This is not an isolated incident. I agree with you that it’s tragic that he’s behind bars right now given his upbringing, but you can’t bury your head in the sand here and ignore the facts or the predicament he is in right now.

Just wondering. Does everyone coming from interstate need to quarantine when arriving in WA? I understand those from NSW would need to quarantine but say Victoria? Seems like WA is run like a fortress.

Right at this moment, if you come from SA, you have to quarantine for 14 days at this stage, this requirement is dues to end at midnight on Christmas Eve barring another outbreak of local transmissions.

NSW is now closed, you pretty much can't even get into to WA from there.

All the rest you have to fill out a G2G pass so they know you're coming but there is no requirement to quarantine. You'd be mad to book a holiday anywhere in WA for the foreseeable future. As the people of SA found out, people were in the air from Adelaide to Perth when the rules changed, when they arrived in Perth they were informed they had to quarantine for 14 days. When they left Adelaide for the 2 1/2 hour flight, there was no requirement to quarantine.

WA is run like a fortress because they have done no other preparation do deal with COVID. As soon as there's cases, the border gets shut.

People have been jailed there for deliberately ignoring quarantine directions.

Him isolating in Belmont in Perth when he was meant to be in Northam is the equivalent of being found in Rosebud when he's meant to be in the Melbourne CBD. Being on the piss in Northbridge is the same as being on the piss in King St in Melbourne.

Absolutely torn. I want him gone but also want him to be a tiger superstar and future premiership player which no one doubts he can be. He’s not a kid, he’s an adult and knows the difference between right and wrong. I fear he may end up a yarran or cousins.

He doesnt have 'Mental deamons' or Depression or other issue's

I really hope he gets 30 days jail and misses out on his New Years eve party which is more important than anything els and i am not surprised at all that he has gotten in trouble with the law but its come 1 -2 week earlier than i thought ( new years was my tip)

He is a bloody hero that likes to show off and has total disregard for Rules his club , his team mates or the law

Just so disappointed. To anyone defending him, all i ask is this, if it was an international tourist etc breaching quarantine, would you be so lenient? I don’t care if he plays for Richmond or not. What he has done is reckless. Whatever punishment he is recieving or is about to be metered out, he deserves it. There’s no excuses on this. I hope it was worth it Sydney.

Yes mate, this whole covid thing is racist and discriminatory. The “white man” is all about supremacy on this. It’s not about saving lives or ensuring people can live a life. Maybe these rules should only apply to us “gubbas”?
