Back.

Contracted Richmond player. Cutting him loose while he is at a low ebb should not be on the table.

I don’t care how good he could be. Whether he takes the field for us again is the last thing on my mind. Number one priority is Stack’s welfare.

Get him back to Melbourne if we can. Move him in with a settled older good influence associated with the club if at all possible. Tee him up the a good psychologist. Hopefully instil a couple of life lessons before his contract ends.

It was very unfortunate that COVID and all the pressures that came with it happened in such a crucial year for Stack. Impossible to know whether he would have still gone off the rails in a normal year.

I love that our club is prepared to give a go to people from difficult backgrounds. We rightly celebrate the Picketts but we must not cut and run from the Stacks.

If we have to part ways with Stack it must be at the end of the contract and after we have done everything we can to put him on the right track.

he had gone off the rails preseason 2020, if Covid hadn’t happened he would have been living back at dimma s , the break up with Monique was preseason, don’t start putting it all on Covid, it didn’t help but it wasn’t the cause, the cause was Sydney and fosters lager

Stack is basically the definition of a rich celebrity I don’t even know what point you are trying to make

Are the rules stupid? Yes.

But like if the rest of us he needs to follow them or else be prepared to face the music if he gets caught

All he had to do was stay at his grandmothers house for 14 days and stay out of trouble
He won't be the last person to do this while this country acts like the world is ending and treats people who get sick like hardened criminals and now Stack is in solitary confinement for being healthy LOL in what is reserved for the worst of the worst. This country is a joke and has been since the federal government left it up to the states and in the process turned one country effectively into 7 countries and that is how they are all acting.

Amazing this day and age a simple facetime on a tablet or phone wouldnt suffice

"Magistrate Jennifer Hawkins adjourned the matter until January 6, "given Mr Stack is unable to speak".
The Jennifer Hawkins?

He can't even get bail. Even toot toot, Ketamine Kerr, and Milne got bail

Hey, I agree with you but they are separate issues and have nothing to do with what led to stack being in the situation in the first place

Like I said before like a lot of the rules we need to adhere to atm I disagree with a lot of them but just because I disagree doesn't give me the right to not adhere to them

It's why i am staying off the grid, no tests, no qr crap, no travel. Just too risky while we have trigger happy governments IMO.

And people are wanting Xmas Island turned into a quarantine center, only thing is its under Australian federal control but strangely Western Australian law and court processes.

If anything it just brings up the question how many other times has he broken rules without being caught

Maybe it was the reason why he was dropped in the first place in 2019 despite decent form on field
Gone out on the piss, team mates found out and club imposed suspension to the vfl
Mate what an imagination you have. 2019 Stack had ankle syndemosis injury mid August in the VFL. After playing all games bar one once he debuted. Talk about his rubbish football in 2020 sure. No argument. 2019 almost the best first year player in the league.

should we just go and bust him out ?
I made it to the lift one time, probably still groggy from the meds, a nurse caught me just before the lift opens....soooooooooooo close I still laugh about it now. (need to download and watch One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest)

It’s a pretty ****ed system that WA’s own rules prevented Stack from attending court so he gets an automatic 14 day iso confinement before learning what happens to him.

He did the wrong thing but that’s not right

Given its off season I'd hope not. Didn't that idiot from Freo do a covid breach after the season. I don't think they got sanctioned. But he was white so the rules are different.
Don't bring racism into this. Stack is a repeat Covid offender. He's a self righteous fool who rightly should be behind bars for his repeat actions. You cannot trust him to isolate.

OK. Split hairs if you want to. Make it: “Impossible to know whether he would have gone off the rails so badly without COVID”. Or, “Impossible to know whether he might have been able to get back onto the rails without COVID”.

My point still stands. Contracted Richmond player well out of his depth. The only way we part company is at the end of his contract and until that time we do everything we can to get him back on track. We do it because we take player welfare seriously. We do it because taking player welfare seriously is good for the club. And we do it because it is the right thing to do.

Im worried about what may happen during these 14 days in solitary.
The more concerning thing is hia ACTUAL trial. What may come out of that is unknown. Ive called for him to be sacked but a person's welfare comes first. The football side has to come later down the track.
