Could be wrong but I seem to recall that Pickett was actively engaged in mentoring indigenous kids who had been incarcerated in WA. Whether he has the time to do this kind of stuff with everything else in his life is problematic as is Stack's willingness to engage. It simply comes down to whether Stack can find it in him to stick to the disciplined approach to training and life style that got him into the team in the first place. If he's satisfied with what he's done to date, then so be it.Your most likely right. Just feel like Pickett isn’t the type to naturally mentor the young guys unless he was asked.
You're mistaking chances for strikes. Chance 1 in your book, RFC was rewarded with a season of great football from Stack. Chance 2. I was at training session at the gold coast January. Stack was in perfect physical condition, slightly muscled if anything. The issue you haven't mentioned is the way he returned to the club after the COVID break. If true. Sack him for the COVID breaches sure. The rest is urban myth. Look at the training he's doing in WA before he returned to the club. The only training that's been done so far is behind closed doors. Any comments about Stack are speculation.I call sh*t on the club... repeat offending.
Recruited by RFC when no other club would touch him... Chance 1.
Came back from WA in sh*t condition for preseason 2020..Chance 2
Souvlaki incident..Chance 3
WA warning for Covid breach.. Chance 4
WA Covid breach again and jailed.. Chance 5 and also reported he was in terrible shape for 2021 preseason.
Yes I call that shitting on the club.

Well said. Totally agree, Pickett has got four kids and his own life, stack needs to want to get his sheet together too.Could be wrong but I seem to recall that Pickett was actively engaged in mentoring indigenous kids who had been incarcerated in WA. One of those circumstances when you wake up your still fuzzy. How did Sidebottom find the right door for the photo shoot?
extraordinary!
This is not even worth arguing about. Your logic for keeping him is he should mature by age 23. Using his current behavioural example we can expect another 5 or 6 offencences. Had he not been talented, he'd already been gone.
Time to cut him lose.

I hope that Richmond remember the needs of the many out weigh the needs of the oneI hope that Sydney Stack lives long and prospers... Richmond player or not.
Needs, wants and gets. It's what it's all about.I hope that Richmond remember the needs of the many out weigh the needs of the one
Brain maturity is at.25 years of age. Love stack's story, but I don't think Richmond can retain him if he mucks up again. I hope he blossoms with the routine of training and playing. That is not “my logic” rather it is your hand-crafted mis-rendering of one of several reasons I listed in my post to retain Stack in the event there are not factors at play that are unknown to us that would make keeping him unwise.
Who knows if he grows out of it around the age most young men are known to mature? My point was for such a talented player it is worth trying to retain him long enough to find out.
I agree you wouldn’t persevere with a challenging player like Stack if he didn’t have talent above the ordinary for an AFL footballer. But a player’s level of talent has to be a pretty big consideration on what list management decisions are made about him, right?
He’ll be ok as long as he’s not wearing a red shirt!I hope that Richmond remember the needs of the many out weigh the needs of the one
