That’s a great post, wish we all thought like that, please don’t post in a political forum, any good post gets interrupted as crap.IMHO I think your story reflects what most teenage lads go through. Sydney is no different and with the systemic rascism and difficulties in his upbringing it can be argued that his 'education' has been hindered more than the average young man.
I'm not here to bag the lad, nor am I here to offer excuses. What I try and do is put myself in his shoes to give myself a better understanding of his situation.
I smell the blood of an Englishman...When I was ten, I was forced to leave civilisation and live in exile in the colonies alongside the descendants of nefarious convicts.
I had my issues in my late teens, due no doubt to that massive culture shock, but learned from them and am now a productive member of society.

Rubbish they all got a warning. However Stack breached a 2nd time. That's why he ended in custody. How’s that different. Quarantine breach is a quarantine breach

“There’s players here that are guttered, absolutely guttered about what’s happened because they’ve been dragged into something that is so against the grain of their own ethos and the club ethos. - Jack Reiwoldt speaking on the first Stack, CCJ breach.
"Sydney must face the consequences of his actions like everyone in life."
-Jack Reiwoldt on Stacks second breach and arrest.
And that should be the end of it.Jack also had some other words regarding the situation Sydney has found himself in and yes, while expressing disappointment in the behaviour there was nothing but support for the person.
WE’RE NOT GIVING UP ON SYDNEY STACK’
Troubled Tiger Sydney Stack’s impending court case and his hope of being back in Melbourne soon are Richmond’s highest priority, star forward Jack Riewoldt says.
Riewoldt said Stack’s alleged actions in Perth and subsequent predicament were “disappointing” but that the Tigers were prepared for a bumpy ride when they signed in early 2019.
“We expected we were going to have some small issues with him,” he said.
“When you take on a young man like Sydney, who hasn’t been afforded a lot of the luxuries that a lot of Australian children grow with, you know it’s going to be a project, so we’re not going to give up on Sydney Stack.
“He’s a young man who has got a lot of issues. He’s got a lot of potential but most importantly now, we put the football side of things to one side and we actually want to continue to grow him as a young man.
“He’s got some fantastic traits and, unfortunately, he found himself in a situation which was against the law and certainly the wrong thing to do, but we’re not going to give up on Sydney Stack.
“We’re going to continue to turn him into a Richmond man and continue to instil values in him that we believe in and hopefully turn him into the person we believe he can come.”
Riewoldt declined to give his opinion on whether Stack deserved to be placed behind bars, but said the WA Government was consistently strong on its hard border and the consequences of breaking the law.
“If you break the rules, you serve the consequences and deal with the penalties, as is the case in every decision you make in life,” he said.
“Sydney’s done that, the club’s been able to get him out on bail and we look forward to getting him back in front of the group and getting him back into our culture.”

Just goes to show how both sides can so call "cherry pick"Jack also had some other words regarding the situation Sydney has found himself in and yes, while expressing disappointment in the behaviour there was nothing but support for the person.

Spot on. It was when he went to his grandfathers funeral. When he first returned to WA before returning to Melbourne.

The funeral in September not November/December as was alludedSpot on. It was when he went to his grandfathers funeral.
Not sure why the media keep insisting this current breach in Dec was when he came for the funeral.
Its already been mentioned and the screen shot of the media posted in this thread.Where? When? I’ve just read 4 different articles and none of them mention another Covid breach. Just this one and the AFL breach. I’ve read people saying this was his second breach but I can’t find the first one. I’ll keep searching but feel free to post it if you find it before me.
Not saying it didn’t happen I can’t find anything to say that it did
Just goes to show how both sides can so call "cherry pick"
Doesn't change the fact Reiwoldt made those particular comments, comments that have been conveniently ignored by Sydney supporters
Jacks statement was on behalf of the club and naturally he had to show public support, but his other comments ballanced it out in my opinion.

No Box070, the media aren't covering up anything.
