Strained medial ligament in his knee apparently.

Absolutely must be rested next week. Far too important to risk and we desperately need him ready for week one of the finals, especially if we are to face 211.

This is screwed-up.

WORSE
LRT: 1 week -> 2-3 weeks
Bird: 1 week -> 2-3 weeks

NEW
Barlow: (not on the list) -> 1-2 weeks
Mumford: (not on the list) -> 1-2 weeks

NO CHANGE
C.Bolton: 2-3 weeks
Thornton: Test

SLIGHTLY BETTER
McGlynn: 2-3 weeks -> 1-3 weeks

BETTER
Bradshaw: 1-2 weeks -> Test

........wtf, didn't LRT just have a "slight" hamstring strain at first?

This injury list is just ridiculous.

Do we have the worst injury management and medical staff in the league?

Craig Bolton - clearly playing injured, suffers a potentially extremely serious achilles injury, doesn't play again for the year.
Daniel Bradshaw - unable to properly manage what was initially a minor injury, and it stretches over a 3 month period
Craig Bird - returns from a stress fracture, an injury that notoriously can flare up again and have devastating effects, career ending in some cases, and season ending in others. See Croad, Egan, Petrie etc etc. Now out for the year.
McGlynn - has what was regarded as a minor injury stretch out for 7 weeks.
Roberts-Thomson - See McGlynn.

God!! how frustrating! we were all expecting lrt back and now 2-3 weeks!! God that sucks. Well atleast Teddy Richards is doing a good job in his spot

In that article they state Bevan could have missed this weekends game if they'd lost at the tribunal. I'd heard otherwise both on here and on SEN. Odd.

Anyway... It's good to at least know where we stand with injuries. Best we can hope for now is a win this weekend and then Mumford, Bradshaw & McGlynn back in for week 1 of the finals.

So the answer to my question appears to be yes. Woeful management of a 1 week soft tissue injury to add to the borderline reckless playing someone with an achilles problem, and bringing someone back from a stress fracture too early.

So true Bolts was injured in pre season and crucified...next year he will be back
