Hoping for a good contest - if Blues drop this, there top 8 chances will be getting pretty slim. They've got some excuses, but ultimately, they need to start beating decent teams...

Sydney will bounce back from their embarassing 4th quarter last week strongly, though. (Credit to Port)

Would be happy with a draw:D

Swans are running out of uninjured players. Out this week (from the Premiership team) are:
Jetta
Goodes
Mummy
LRT
Shaw
AJ
Reid
Mattner (recently retired - has lap of honour tonight)

plus Rohan. Is any other team as tested for depth as this list? It has to catch up sometime.

Freo's injury list is shocking too.

Swans by 10 IMO.

I've tipped Sydney but with very little conviction. I still think they'll get the job done, but would not be surprised if Carlton run over the top.

Sydney have got a number of injuries and despite the popular opinion aren't that good in the wet.
Not saying that we'll win, but think it will closer than most people expect.

...but I'll bet anything once the coverage starts, Bruce and the boys will say these conditions will suit the swans and the way the play.

I've tipped the Swans with no confidence whatsoever. It's been raining all week in Sydney according to weatherzone and the Swans are usually poor in the wet despite what so many people think, should be a very close game and a huge opportunity for the Blues to beat a top 8 team to really give themselves a shot at playing finals.
