Looks like it's the grand final we have to have

Sydney and Hawthorn are the two best teams and should meet on the last Saturday in September

Last year everyone was saying to give Collingwood the flag until about the last month of home and away.

Besides, it doesn’t matter what happens in home and away, Brisbane will just turn up the heat come finals and complete their three-peat.

Brisbane and Hawthorn are probably the favourites right now. Sydney are certainly a chance as I picked them to win the minor premiership but have had some pretty horrible GF losses over the years.

Brisbane despite a slow start to the season have a very winnable draw ahead and could go on a big winning streak that can really propel them up the ladder.

Geelong, Fremantle the Western Bulldogs and possibly Gold Coast are contenders.

My premiership favourites as of now:

1. Brisbane
2. Hawthorn
3. Sydney
4. Geelong
5. Western Bulldogs

Obviously would love this to happen but WAY, WAY too early to tell.

Form in April is rarely an indicator - in fact, the premiership favorites at this stage of the season seldom go on to win it.

Brisbane winning the last 2 flags well (despite being nowhere in April) and improving their list further should have them as warm favourites until they are knocked out (and further reinforces April being too early to tell). Their September form and their depth is pretty formidable.

I'm certainly pleased with Hawthorn winning 3 in a row against decent sides but I don't think it's anywhere near enough to be pencilling in premiership wins as you have - we beat Sydney in Melbourne w/out Heeney, Gulden, etc, Geelong by a point and the Bulldogs who we always beat and who were a mess in the ruck without Englsh. Our list is relatively fit and our depth has not been tested nor is what it was in 2025. Again, happy with the start but there is a long, long way to go...

Awesome.

Sydney are who you to play in a Grand Final.

This year we will go a step further and deliver the premiership cup to the opposing dressing room at half time. This will allow everyone to leave the G thirty minutes early.

Swans yes hawks no.

Swans likely to play either Lions or Freo in the GF.

Hawks will bomb out week 2 of finals semi final stages so too the cats.

Swans Lions Freo and Suns are best 4 in it.

GF can be any combination of these 4.
