Saldo the only thing you've achieved by posting in this thread and creating a thread on the bay with similar thread title is showing people that you've taken to heart what North posters are saying and that they clearly are inside your head.

You are not doing yourself any favours.

Oooh, the saladtosser's back and isn't he just so brave posting that North is soft on the North board? Probably back on the *Essendon board now recounting his brave exploits.

Let's deal in facts then:

1. You're right, North were soft yesterday; and
2. *Essendon players took banned substances and are therefore drug cheats. The whole club tried to cheat the rest of the competition and now they're maintaining their collective spineless character by trying to cheat at the investigation, after having cheated when the internal report was handed down by leaving the perpetrators in place. Cheats.

But we won't be soft forever.

A vastly inferior thread I might add.

Essendon players will not receive any suspensions and Hird will retain his job. That is an absolute sure thing.
LOL, I notice you didn't deny the cheating.

I didn't watch On The Couch, but if Jobe admitted to taking an illegal substance, even the cynical agenda-driven AFL executive won't be able to get your players or club around the ASADA sanctions.

Whilst we're on Golden Showers.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dank convinced the ****sticks of the benefits of drinking one's piss.

You could imagine McVeigh all wide eyed, on his knees in the middle of a circle while all the boys whipped it out.

They'd just tell Spike it was Vitamin C.

Watching, watson sr in action, one wonders if Radar(co host) knew what the agenda was and obviously go about selling the rhetoric to the morning punters. Tell its not an advantage to have some good north melbourne people on radio/Tv/ media preacher our ethos.

4 days after Armstrong was charged with doping, they took all 7 of his TDF wins off him, and stripped him of any other individual or team honour that he had accrued throughout his career.

Marion Jones admitted to a federal trial about her use of performance enhancing steroids on 5 October 2007. The same day she accepted a 2 year ban from track and field competitions worldwide. Three days later she surrendered all 5 gold medals she received at Sydney 2000 Olympics.

If there is any consistency in sport, then Jobe Watson, who admitted on live and national television that he took a banned performance enhancing substance in a year where he won the competition he participates in's highest honour, will surrender his Brownlow within the week and the ruling body (the AFL) will suspend him for a duration of time appropriate for his crimes.

bit harsh, he only took banned substances, you cant take a brownlow away from anyone for that, its not like he did something sinister like tripping a bloke over.

Actually, Corey McK was rubbed out for falling on John Barnes.

On another note, has anyone explained the phrase "conflict of interest" to Tim Watson, SEN and Channel 7? He makes Ron Evans' catering deals look above board.

In Tef's clip above, he says he's ok with the mindset of *Essendon officials in pushing the line, and that he's happy to take their word they didn't try anything illegal intentionally, even though he's the parent of a player. Timmy, you're ok with it because you're a typical *Essendon supporter. I'd bet you wouldn't be so ok with it if you were perfectly neutral, and the father of an *Essendon player...

this all smells of PR spin, both jobe and tim following the script provided them by the damage control plan the PR company has put in place, trying to promote the view that the players did nothing wrong and are confident of being absolved, ok, admit AOD9604, what about the thymosin ? has been conveniently pushed into the background, was it on the consent forms ?

It seems clear from Tim's comments today that Essendon's defence is based on AOD not being a banned substance at the time. After all, Jobe has admitted taking it, but Tim then says they didn't take banned substances.
So the legality of it under anti-doping rules appears to be the foundation of their defence.
