If I hear one more time from Jame's camp
"that he cannot tell his side of the story yet, but, when he can it will all come out"

How come journos do not ask the question "what is stopping you from telling us your story, give us some detail about this, what is preventing you from opening up on what took place?
He continues to slip through the net making it all look like everyone else did wrong except him.
He should be reminded of the press conference he did where he said

"all responsibility sits with him" or something to that effect.

It is easy to see how cults are created when you see first hand the actions of a James Hird and his following of sheep, the man can do no wrong in the eyes of his followers.

In my opinion I would have thought if he had something to say he could just let it slip through "his people" to the media as appears to have been his MO during this saga.

Confirmation Hird has no spine just spotted floating off Port Phillip Bay

The best bit of late is them sucking up to Caro.

AFAIK, Caro will never again get a sniff from North.

But the poor cash strapped Bombers have rolled over and sucked up to her.

What a pathetic spineless club.

No self respect at all.

BANNED Essendon coach James Hird will be welcomed back into the coach’s box for the Bombers’ Round 23 clash against arch-rival Carlton.

Essendon president Paul Little says he has no issue with new coach Mark Thompson using Hird as a consultant, starting against the side that took Essendon’s place in last year’s finals series.

But Little has rejected speculation Hird will not be back as senior coach in 2015. He said the agreement with the exiled coach was “set in concrete”.

If chicken little says it's set in concrete it won't happen.

Little is the boy who cried wolf.

Step 1: rumours start that the coach is going to get the axe

Step 2: club boss steps in and says the coaches' position is safe. Uses terms like "Set in concrete", or "iron clad", or "safe as houses"

Step 3: club sacks coach.

How many times have we seen that process play out?

The only difference here is the timing - Hird isn't actually coaching at the moment, so there's no immediate pressure on him and no rush to sack him. But you only had to read Little's interview with Caro to see how step 1 got going, to see that Little's follow up comments were step 2.

The way I read it, *Hird needs * to either have a shithouse season, or for *Thompson to be happy to step back, to get the gig back at the end of the season. If * are going ok and *Thompson has got back into the swing of things, I can't see * honouring their pledge to give * Hird another go.

All of which means that even if ASADA doesn't come through, this saga still has legs. Moar popcorn pls.

I rarely ever go over to the *essendon board but, wow, are they still seriously delusional over there. Learnt nothing from this whole sad sorry saga.

It might be worth wandering along to the * v Hawks game, which is apparently on in round 2.
