We are not rocket
we are not rocket scientists but all the North Campaigners on this Board predicted this at least 12 months ago - GAGF JImmy and * - I feel sorry for the rational * supporters- they must feel like a patriotic German in December of 44
I never thought l would read this on BF, very true.

An expedited appeal could be heard by the end of October or early November.

Not sure who provided this bit of legal insight but my understanding is a 3 judge Federal Court appeal would most likely only be expedited in the circumstance that the plaintiff was about to die. For instance in a case involving Big Tobacco. I don't think trade week or the national draft would prompt the court to accelerate this one, not when they have REAL cases to deal with. It is more probable the appeal would drag well into next season.

But, he has won ANZAC medals, a Brownlow, has the middle name Albert.

Surely that counts for something!!!!!

Like a nuclear bomb going off in space; it explodes first before imploding. It's WWIII on the *board. Hee hee.

And let's not forget the players who are always played out as innocent parties. Which sane adult would sign a piece of paper then allow themselves to be injected 100 times without knowing what is in the jabs? Bring on the 34 show cause notices because the players have no answers.

They had the collective IQ of a chico roll.

She's actually got a point here. Bomber is in this up to his neck and he's managed to paint himself as the good guy.
He knows that he has the Essendon job if Hird gets sacked. I listened to his speech at the B&F and it's clear he will be a senior coach next season. Mentioned he is struggling to step back from a senior role, and then later used the analogy of AFL players don't like playing in the VFL. He will either be GC or Essendon coach, and it slipped out that we'd have to wait two days to find out...

He's going away for two weeks, which is classic strategy for Hird to get knifed, and Bomber to be conveniently away so he can't be interviewed.

Ah what wonderful times we live in. I've got the feeling that this is going to be one of the best off-seasons we have ever experienced.

BTW, I just popped over to the *essendon board and put some likes on a couple of Jab's posts. I thought the bloke deserved some moral support. He is fighting more or less a lone hand and is one of the few who has approached this from the proper perspective.

Good - we got a good look at how he coached in a big final. He had no answers when we flicked the switch.

So difficult to have any sympathy whatsoever for James. He must be surrounded by a small group of yes men/woman who wouldn't dare tell the king the things that need to be said.

As far as Hird is concerned he is the club. If he could he'd drag the whole lot of them down with him.
He's already done that

mmmm, yes.....they'll be queuing up based on that - Swans could have won that by 100+ if they didn't take the foot off the pedal.

I actually think North should be very happy with their year, as should Essendon - of course we'll have to settle for having Heppell whilst we watch with envy knowing we could have had Atley, but all jokes aside both sides are about 2 free agents and a couple of young guys having a break out year away from being a smokey of a challenger.

Enjoy laughing about an endless off field issue that damages both the dons and the code we all love (and that very much includes the smaller clubs and their revenue), and enjoy laughing at how drawn out and damaging this has been/is for our game.

Today's verdict does nothing but put us back to exactly where we were 7 weeks ago, and now we very slowly all move forward again.....cheering for that is akin to cheering because a player is injured and awaiting a stretcher (which says a fair bit more about the people cheering than the injured player imo).

Enjoy.
BUMP........
