Wow and wow again.

What is *their cost for this exercise now?

*essendon fc memberships will surely rise to over $1000 a year, just to get a seat on level 4 at etihad for 3 home games mind you.
$1,000 to watch Daniher and Goddard and some of the recruit rejects run around.

Nah. Not even * supporters are that desperate.

If they oust Little before he pays all of * debt, will they be broke? They owe millions for the shed at Tulla plus another 5 Million from this debacle. They might have to merge with GWS.
I think its time to ask *supporters when will THEY get the money tins out and start rattling on every corner around Melbourne.

I take lots of notes but I am not at liberty to disclose who said *Jimmy was being made a scapegoat. OMG can we publish this thread as a book. I was reading it on my phone in bed this morning literally laughing out load many times
You know what?? I was thinking the same..........but with a spin, copy and merge ASADA thread over @ *land with this one. It would make a great xmas gift to all football lovers this year :)

I very much doubt that *he will backflip. I think *he is so far out of touch with the rest of the world (apart from all those *donialists over on the *essendon board) that *he has no comprehension of just what is going on and how much damage *he is wreaking on the *essendon fc.

*he is like the soldier who is marching out of step with everyone else in the battalion and tries to get everyone else to change to the same step as *him. It aint gonna happen but *he doesn't have enough up top to understand this

If *he is ignoring what *watson, Goddard and *hocking have allegedly asked him to do, being to fall into line with the club and not appeal, then does he not realise (in my view anyway), that *he has lost the players too?

The *players have had enough. *little has had enough. The *board of the *essendon fc have had enough. Only the lawyers have not had enough but perhaps their wallets haven't had enough yet.

Personally I don't care how much damage *he does because over *there *they have treated *him with far more reverence than any human being deserves and *he least of all deserves that sort of reverence.
Horry, his name is so far damaged that he has no choice but to take the fight all the way, we're not talking in the football world now but in the world of business. If there's talk of him being "technically/lawfully" correct he and his missus will grab onto to that so they can publicly say that to the media. This is his form of damage control, for his sake.

Ch7 are now reporting that *hird has been offered the opportunity to resign or be sacked. The * board will meet again next week.

Pissweak *board is pissweak. *little must be laying in bed each night staring up at the *jimmy poster which adorns *his bedroom's ceiling crying *himself to sleep.

Call me daft for my read on this, but how can they possibly defend him now?

Might be wrong, but he can't cop any further penalties? But he's now diverting energy and resources towards himself rather than preparing the team for 2015?

How can that basic logic be ignored?

Staggering.

Poor bloke really does seem to be clueless that the club is about to drop a bomb on his head.

Hird seems to have a real problem in understanding politics.. he thinks everyone is like him.. straight up and honest. He thinks that when a man looks you in the eye and says "trust me to take the team for 12 months and look after them for you".. he will honour that.. he also thinks that when a man looks you in the eye and says "too right we are going to fight for the truth and justice for our players" they actually mean it and won't roll over at the first sign of trouble...

Unfortunately is just going to make him look even more out of touch when the club makes its decision. The only possible delay might be waiting on Bomber to decide if he wants to stay or go to Gold Coast. If Bomber takes Gold Coast then Hird stays..

Interesting whether GAJ would stay if Bomber went North.. that is why I can't understand the Bomber to GC move.. they would lose GAJ for a coach? Seems unlikely.

Right now I am so embarrassed to support this club.. and I really never ever ever thought I would feel this way.. and it won't stop me supporting them.. but boy.. I've never felt this before. I am seeing the club through new eyes.. and it isn't pretty.

Hahahahahahahahahaha. #shitrinessays.

I especially like the 2nd paragraph

I have no issue if James Hird was to stand aside on his own accord if the players are to be found guilty, but James Hird has stood up for the club and took a bullet for it last year in accepting penalties when he wanted to fight. The club needs to stand by him and support him in the fight because at the end of the day he is fighting for the club as much as his own reputation.

James Hird is loved by us supporters because he loves the club and has shown more passion for the club than anyone in the last 20 years. For those of us who grew up supporting Essendon and James Hird we remain inspired by his love, passion and determination and we believe he is the only one who could lead us to an era of greatness over the next 20 years emulating Kevin Sheedy.

I am relieved that the club has not jumped the gun and sacrificed James Hird on an altar to appease the media. I hope that they think long and hard before making any decision and that they stand by James Hird just as he has stood by the club.

I also take great satisfaction in knowing that Caroline Wilson so far has been left with egg on her face.

^^cant find it now, but one journo yesterday suggested part of *jimmys motivation to challenge is to force the *board into a $2m payout. Interesting theory?
