Hird still thinks * will win the premiership.
If Geelong lose to Fremantle and Gold Coast and * beat Port by 10 goals next Friday night in Adelaide then they will 100% go all the way!
Goddard will finally get his movie!!

The scum are officially out of the race.

“Besides losing that was a great result, we have lost nothing in percentage so we are still an outside chance”

You may want to tell this nuffy. They need to beat port by approx 310 points, have the cats lose to both Freo and Suns at home. But hey - they are still a chance!!

IT has been a long road, but Essendon Football Club is now relevant again.
That is the opinion of its ruthless list manager Adrian Dodoro, who did not hide his glee following the Bombers’ final deal of the trade period.

Jake Stringer’s move to Essendon capped off an impressive fortnight for Dodoro and his team in which they also lured Adam Saad and Devon Smith to Tullamarine.

And in doing so, the Dons are back where they belong according to the man that orchestrated the trio of trades.
I think the celebration for our football club is that we are relevant again, we are respected in the industry and we are playing finals. It’s just great that people want to come to our club.

But there is little doubting that with three impressive inclusions the club is better placed to achieve success in 2018 than it was in the season just gone, although said he would “leave it to the experts” to dissect precisely how open Essendon’s premiership window is.

Smith effective disposal % 53.6
Stringer. " " % 46.2
Saad. Holding the ball - lost the game.

Dodo has being building a list for 15 years. 15 years since they won a final. Longest active streak in the AFL. How this clown is still employed is amazing. But hey - while he is still in charge it will be at least another 15 years before they do.

"One in a hundred chance?"
"More like one in a million"
