Looks like Martin's moved onto bigger things these days, the thriving vanilla bean industry. A very appropriate analogy for his ability as a lawyer.

Vanilla = Vanillan and Pepper = Piperine.

Both very interesting molecules in organic chemistry.

"Thymosin Beta 4 was included on the 2010 prohibited list by WADA … Thymosin Beta 4 has never been approved for human use.

"Whether a substance was on ASADA's former 'Check Your Substances' tool has no bearing on its status as a prohibited substance on WADA's prohibited list.

GUILTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If Dank could ever be made to spill his guts then all the crap they went down for would be next to nothing.

If Dank could be made to spill his guts Hird and Evans would be run out of town with pitchforks.

Troll confirmed.
A journo would have checked the facts. Those posing as journalists these days are puppets on a string.

A scientist would have checked his facts. I can't understand the motive of a scientist for the kind of garble that was attributed to him in that story, but I did see a few FoI requests had been made by him on the * PED case so he's probably a tin foil hat wearing member of the sea kayaking academy.

I'm pretty sure it was Bruce Francis who did the FOI request and it's probably what he "uncovered" that has led to this renewed round of squawking.

"The gift that keeps on giving" is an overused saying, but it's right on point in this case.

Thing is all what has been spoken about today is not new. We were all over out here at the time.

Essendon club spirit will be destroyed if Windy Hill grandstands go, fans say

Emilie Baxter
October 13, 2019 6:00am

Bombers fans are furious with a council vision for Windy Hill that could see the site’s sacred and historic grandstands torn down. The plans have suggested removing two of the three grandstands to create more open space as part of a council draft vision to reinvigorate the site. The suggestion is just one of several possible options to improve the area, including new netball courts and a playground. The council document said grandstand removals would generate more land for other purposes such as public space or a sporting hub. The plans are only in the draft stage and nothing is set in stone.

The author of 2017’s We Are Essendon, Rick Edwards, said the grandstands were iconic and should stay a part of the precinct.

“You just don’t tear down historical and iconic grandstands so there’s more space for people to walk their dogs or kick a soccer ball,” he said. “Essendon’s AFL side may have moved from the ground, but its spirit remains.” The Bombers’ AFL club has shifted its base to Tullamarine, but the oval is still used for home matches for its VFL side. “Grandstand seating is also necessary so crowds can sit in comfort at VFL games,” Mr Edwards said.

Bombers fans took to social media to vent their frustrations, citing cultural and historical significance, a need for shelter during games and the destruction of the club’s spirit as reasons to keep the stands. “We think the grandstands should stay and be adaptively re-purposed. They are an integral part of the site’s heritage fabric,” wrote Adam Ford. “These grandstands are intrinsically linked to the history of this hallowed precinct, surely some renovation and mixed-use utilisation of these heritage structures could be incorporated into the master plan,” wrote Ian Mason.

Many questioned why the grandstands were not heritage-listed, as they had such a cultural significance for the Essendon Football Club.

Moonee Valley Mayor Narelle Sharpe said the council had not made any decisions on any of the infrastructure yet, and the draft vision was in the process of being redrafted with the latest round of community feedback. “There are no plans for how the precinct will look at this stage,” she said. “The draft vision highlights a number of community concerns, including that the grandstands are in urgent need of upkeep. “It is absolutely our intention to maintain the history of the football club at Windy Hill.” Heritage Victoria and the Essendon Football Club were contacted for comment but did not respond by the deadline.

Aren’t they referring to the spirit of the lawn bowls club?

More to the point, he apparently didn't even read further down the page where it states that "Modern scientific sources report that the alleged phenomenon is not real."

You'd be disappointed in a 10-year old if s/he did such a superficial analysis to support an argument.
I saw Ziggy in Frankston Bunnings one day. He picked out some outdoor lights and put them in his trolley. Nekminet, his wife rocks up and gives him a bake because she doesn't like the lights.

A better analogy in this situation was that Ziggy looked like a frog in a blender after copping one from his wife.

Was the trolley to protect his arms?
