Damn you JeanLucGoddard .

I shouldn't still laugh at your bloody "official thread" suffix.

Like you took a look at the forum, like some frustrated old Victorian era groundsman, shook your head muttering "no no no not like this no" and set about painstakingly merging all the fractured and disparate Syria vs Queensland discussion into one central body of work.
The old "Official Thread" must be used sparingly, but when used correctly it is devastating.

It’s a war crime to actually use. Especially in residential area.
Yeah, that's the thing about the Syrian War, its a vision of the future where things like war crimes and so on just don't come into consideration.

Its a grim example, but another instance where Syria (vision of the future) has it over Queensland (which is only useful as a way of seeing what Victoria was like 70 years ago)

Off topic but slightly relevant the tigris river which flows thru Syria and Iraq is glowing green with isotopes atm. There’s going to be inter generational problems thru the Middle East because of it. Those who rely on the Tigris for a water source for food anyway.

It’s all the depleted uranium tips from the scuds.

The depleted uranium comes from the US munitions fired there, same as how there's been horrific mutations and cancer clusters in Iraq for 30 years now.

DU is all over the middle east. Its used in a stupid amount of muntions. Especially anti tank rounds. Its almost perfect for destroying tanks but vapourises and leaves tiny particulate residue eventually. There is still some argument that it may contribute to Gulf War Syndrome but has caused enough other problems in Iraq as it is.
