Analysis Syria is better than Queensland - official thread

Remove this Banner Ad

Thread for comparisons between the two, with a definite preference for the Land of Al-Sham, home to the oldest continuously occupied city in the world, treasure trove of human history, the very cradle of civilisation.

Over Queensland, home to the oldest continuously working stripper in the world, treasure trove of meth pipes, the very cradle of racism on this island.

To open:

Queensland's Education Minister is called Grace Grace.

Syria's is Hazwan Al-Wuz

Very clearly Syria the winner here.

Here's something I'm not going to bring near to this thread.

How many kids from Syrian academies have we squandered second round draft picks on?

NONE

Syria takes the chocolates over Queensland again.

Syria has a beach. Brisbane does not.

Once again, Brissy sucks balls.

Will our first round pick be pushed down the order by the AFL granting a priority pick to a Syrian team?

NO IT WON'T

Syria has beautiful beaches and without the hassles and dangers you find on Queensland beaches.

Syria doesn't promote XXXX as something other than undrinkable swill.

Syria > Queensland.

You would - quite rightly - be beheaded for selling XXXX in parts of Syria.

I feel the need to go into bat for my home state here.
Prostitution is legal in qld but illegal in Syria.
Qld has a big pineapple but Syria only has regular sized pineapples.

I will however concede the average Syrian is probably more forward thinking, progressive and far less conservative than the average qlder though.

I don't recall playing a Round 1 game in a monsoon in Syria.

Or any mid season twilight games where we go three goals up and then don't kick any more because the ball turns greasy like a dirty look in the 90s.

Higgo has never had his collarbone broken in Syria.
