I love SOAD.. i usually cant stand really heavy metal (I was trying to think what exact genre these guys belong to?? any ideas??) stuff but these guys pull it off beautifully & lyrics with some real meaning is an added bonus... so much better than anything else i have heard from similar styles.

worst. band. ever.
I didn't used to like them but they've grown on me. They play a very unique style of music, that's the main reason why I like them now.

Yeah, i like. It is beyond words how much they have improved as a live band between visits to Australia too. Last time Dorian was a little too pre-occupied with doing Anthony Kiedis's Tia Chi dance impressions rather than playing his guitar and the whole band was a little too loose for my liking, but on their recent tour i thought they were tight as a Nun's nasty and put on a terrific (if a little bit short on time) show. I was devistated with the ommision of P.L.U.C.K from their set list though, which is my fav SOAD tune.

SOAD circa 2005 made SOAD circa 2003 sound like a bad tribute band.
imo, they almost played the perfect set. would've liked to have heard ddevil or CUBErt of their debut though fans of toxicity had nothing to complain about. they practically played the whole album only skipping jet pilot, shimmy and X.
great show though. am hoping they come back at some stage after the release of the new album as the 3 new songs they played sounded quite good.
