Where did you watch the IPL last year?? It does sound funny wanting fast bouncy decks in India
There's an IPL channel on YouTube that's really good...shows all the games live and they do some good highlights packages.

This might be the link? If not it shouldn't be hard to find...

Yeah it's an odd concept but the opposition found getting Morkel in particular away on our bouncy home strip near on impossible at times; same with Yadav etc. We have no decent spinners so we'll have to put all our eggs in that basket I think.

David Warner
Virender Sehwag (c)
Naman Ohja (+)
Mahela Jayawardene
Venugopal Rao
Yogesh Nagar
Andre Russell
Irfan Pathan
Morne Morkel
Varun Aaron
Umesh Yadav
12th - Ashok Dinda

Not too bad at all. Our opening combination and our fast bowling is certainly our strength. This team doesn't include Kevin Pietersen as he will probably be unavailable for most of it...Russell and Warner might be on national duties too. :(

Just witnessed one of the best games of t20 ever! If you get the chance check out the highlights from the RCB vs CSK game. CSK required 45 from 2 overs and chased it down off the last ball. Morkel faced the 19th over and hit 28!!

Just saw that, pretty crazy. Lols had at Kohli bowling that 2nd last over. Finished 0/36 from 2 overs :p

Disappointing from Marsh. Had one good innings but aside from that his form slump is continuing. I think he needs to go back to opening.

He just propped forward with a big gap between bat and pad. I know it's T20 but that sort of shot deserves what it got really. The only thing in his favour is that he hasn't played Narine before so wouldn't know what he can do.

Yeah fair enough. Narine is a freak, just picked up a third.

Kings XI are a rabble.

EDIT: Make that 4/8 off 3 and on a hat trick.

Hilarious reading on the Rajasthan Royals forum about what team they should selecting. Every game I keep reading them wanting Shaun Tait in for Brad Hogg. Even though Hogg has been by far their best bowler in every game he's played.

Not to mention Tait is beyond ordinary. :/

how is the ipl going this year? must say i havent had the least bit of interest in it this year despite getting around it in the past couple of seasons.

this might sound like a silly question but do those plyers really get say 2 million (jadeja) for the season?? seems exorbitant for 2 mths and 10 matches of cricket.

does the ipl have a future outside of india or will it petter out??

my opinion personally is that this is what should happen all over the world and have less meaningless international games, make seeing australia a rarer and thus more special occurance.

There are similar domestic comps all over the world. The BBL was played over summer in Australia, Bangladesh have a t20 competition that Hogg and MacGill (I think) played in, and of course England are big on domestic t20.

How is Gilly still in in the 19th over and only faced 26 balls?

Oh he retired hurt, that makes sense. Dang, KXP cannot bat.
