yeah I reckon, when they get Hamid back their bowling will be nuts, Dawlat, Shapoor, Hamid, Mirwais, Nabi, all good bowlers

Ireland have Rankin and Dockrell who'll end up playing for England and some decent batsmen I guess like Porterfield, Stirling, Kevin and they'll have Niall back for the World Twenty20 too so I dunno, I'd still rather play against Afghanistan haha

**** me dead Shehzad's striking it nicely, I remember when cricinfo had him listed as 18 years old when he made that unbeaten double ton to chase 494 against Canada, turns out he's a little older haha, thought it was ridiculous to have that much talent at such a young age! He's only 24 though...I think :p

I hate to see Irish talent go to England. It obviously makes them better as individual players but Ireland with Eoin Morgan for example right now would be a lot stronger, and Dockrell looks a strong talent. What's the story with Niall O'Brien by the way? Was he dropped? The main attraction of playing against Afghanistan for me is that it'll be the first time, always makes it more interesting. :)

Shehzad certainly was playing well. Certainly needs to hit the gym to further his game though. Mind you if he has a double hundred to his name his fitness must be okay. He just resembles that Guppta guy from 'Outsourced' at the moment.

2 awesome strikes to end the innings give Afghanistan a total of 152, this'll be a great game.

Niall decided to play in the BPL, didn't get a game iirc haha

Stirling's playing well, I want to go to bed hahaha :(

And well yeah I just want to see us against them haha, cue billions of people saying this'll be their first time in the World T20 :p tbf they didn't disgrace themselves last time, made 120 odd against India and lost by about 50 or 60 runs to South Africa

Ah I see, cheers. You might aswell go to bed, a run a ball 68 required, it'll be a piece of piss. Amazing effort from Stirling though, 50 from 17 balls!

Yep that's right, restricted South Africa to 139. Could only make 80 in reply but still.

Its only T20, but its good to see the two non-Test nations to make the jump get through and be tested along the way suggesting another team or two aren't far behind.
Also intersting to see that a Nepalese umpire was officiating in the final.
