Bit insulting to Hannath, couldn't think of a more apt comparison, just went with Riewoldt's team mate. You are trying to incite, I presume.

On the contrary! I think his added ability to ruck over Tabs is what may get him the nod, while his presence forward is marginally less than Tabs at this stage (questionably).Hmm.
So does that mean that the general consensus is that Hannath is currently playing a better role as a forward.

Agree totally!, Kosi was a decent ruck/forward. Not the most accurate, and definitely worse after the head injury, but a good mark, and always contributed. A role player, but better than Hansen, and in his heyday, as good as Q. Lynch (who I rate higher than a few eagles supporters I know). Another comparison to what he could become is someone like Hale for the Hawks. Strong through the body, good mark and a long accurate kick.Guys the comparison to Kosi isn't THAT harsh, I for one would be stoked if Hannath managed to play 200 games for us.
I think some of you guys are smoking too much green weed .

Think back to just last season and Clarke carried our ruck division as our no1 ruckman .
The biggest problem with Kosi was the tendency he had to injure his fellow teammates.

He is still learning how to play up forward and he will learn the role have no doubt about it .
The place I want to see him play is CHF because he is so mobile and he takes a good contested mark .
He's not a FF because he takes too long to get going and from what I've seen Apeness is a better option because he is seriously quick off the mark .
Griffin and Kepler can play the role of FP and no2 ruckman .
This is all guess work because until we see Griff and Keps play we have no idea if they are still the players they were

Maybe Tabs just needs to grow a mongrel beard.Fwiw, I'd say his performance up forward against the eagles last week is better than anything Tabs has produced so far.
Sandi is our no1 ruckman and when he is not rucking he can slot in to the forward pocket thats now .Maybe my memory is shot, but I thought you wanted him to be our #1 ruck, and Sandilands forward?
Sandi is our no1 ruckman and when he is not rucking he can slot in to the forward pocket thats now .
Clarke is our no2 ruckman when he is fit to play .
During this season RTB should try Clarke at CHF IMO because he has the capacity to play the position and the arobic capacity to give any backman nightmares in trying to keep him under control .
Once Griff is fit and ready to go the situation may change as to who is the no2 ruckman .
My thoughts are about looking to the future when Sandi retires or is injured as well as giving the team the ability to kick the extra 2 goals a game .
We all understand that Tabs needs time to develop his body to AFL level and this move IMO gives us another option to consider .
Apeness is another option for FF but will need time to develop . The great thing is he has a great player in Pavlich to guide him in his development as well as Sumich .
Although saying that when sandi retires I would put griffith in a Backman position and clarke in a CHF position, because if the mark spills in forward line its ok we have our mice ready to pounce meaning ballaz and wallters however cant afford to drop marks in the backline so need someone who is confident to put body on line and great hands with griffy is.
I disagree. Why not put Griff up forward and Zac down back. Zac's strength is his run and carry, Griffs is his goal sense
