Tall options at the minute, Hannath, Clarke, Tabs, Smith. Not too far away Keps, Griff, Silvagni? Mid season break, Gumby, Moro?
The other option is to play Crozier, Sylvia, Duffy? A mosquito squadron, and use pace, skill, to kick a winning score.

I think Dustin Fletcher rucked a bit in the U18's? I could be wrong, but I seem to remember it that way.

Just because it hasn't been done, does not mean it can't be done. Or even that it shouldn't be done.

With teams turning junior rucks into AFL KPF's, I think teams will have to start using rucks as defenders occasionally.

I think a big issue is that a resting ruck as a defender interferes with an important structure, whereas going forward provides an opportunity for mismatches and mayhem.

Ruckmen very rarely succeed in any kind of KPP role, at best it's usually "can pinch hit when necessary".

Because I'm a pedant, agree with the rest but I think he is pretty agile for a guy his size. Definitely ruckman or bust for Zac though.
