The well oiled machine is puting them away early Geelong lead 32 to 7. Darcy is dominating in the ruck giving Geelong mids first use. Worpel and Parish both been good and for Sandringham most where quiet from lack of supply but Sakeson, Lyons and Taranto looked the best.

And that's it Sandringham win 70 to 48. Taranto the star with 4 goals. Florent with 2 late goals aswell to finish he game on a high. Lyons super in the middle. McGrath was everywhere in the last quarter. Scrimshaw was composed and assured at half back and the smaller fleet in Angus Brayshaw and Josh Trew also good. Filipovic got the better of Darcy after quarter time his athleticism and skill was too much for him in the end. For Geelong it was an even performance with players flashing in and out of the game. Good players where Pat Dowling, Sam Simpson, Mitch Diamond and Matthew Ling. Worpel and Parish where in and out of the game after Darcy lost momentum in the ruck. Setterfield with a shoulder injury in the 2nd which ended his day is off to the epsworth to get X-Ray's. Geelong played it too safe after quarter time and it cost them dearly.

Half time Murray lead 48 to 18. Tiziani the star that quarter kicking 3 in a row. Brodie having a dog of a day with only 4 touched to half time and don't like how the don't rest him forward to try and get him a goal to get his confidence up. Larkey and Phillips good that quarter for Oakeligh and Garthwaite and Sproule have been rock solid down back.

Murray win by 50. Tiziani the star with 6. Sproule and Garthwaite solid down back and Marshall was better than the last time kicking 2 goals and made some ripper tackles. Sets up a big clash between them and Sandringham. Brodie was kept of the ground 10min into the last to keep him fresh, had a horrid day with only 12 touches and a goal.

Probly as rookies they would be a good chance.
i see Allsop has been nominated as Melbournes only multicultural catergory B rookie, does that mean he will almost certainly be taken by melbourne if he slips through both the national and rookie draft?

So how does the category B system work is it just a fall back or safety net for those of multiculutral or indeginous background? And are you saying him and fowler would of most likely of been picked up had they been 5-10cm taller?

It's just rare for players of that size to go early in the draft. Nah I think it's just an initiative from the AFL to get more cultures involved at AFL level. More a PR move in my opinion but it's definetley a good thing for footy.
