I thought Adam Bentick's acceptance speech at the presentation was first class, and it is great to see a player who you know can play actually get up there and show they have more qualities than just playing footy.
Of the players you didn't mention, I'm going to mention Roberto Castello who had in excess of 20 possessions. He scrapped for the footy all day and showed clean ball handling skills at ground level on almost every occassion in the wet. He is a smart footballer. I doubt he'll get the recognition come draft time, but he is one bloke who really should go on and play VFL.
Agree with both points. Bentick's speech made for good listening. Very articulate and mature. Will make a good leader.
Also, I liked Castello. Exciting and looks like a character. Hope he has a future.
