I can understand why you are so keen to focus on this century which is only 8 years old , knowing that is also the worst period in our proud history and the only timespan we have collected spoons , how many have you got by the way ? But thats fine if you don't want to consider last century where we lead 16 premierships to your 1 , this century we are nil all in that count . if you want to consider games played , over all , we lead 156-44 . Though I must concede your on a 9 game winning streak and will probablymake it 10 next week , this is your greatest streak in the making - do you think you can match our 15 game streak over your guys ? Try looking at the all time vfl/afl ladder which consists of 19 teams , st kilda is ahead of only brisbane bears(lions are listed as a separate team after fitzroy merger) and university . yep , any wonder you only want to look at this century .
Whatever though , we still are the confident bunch we once were which is why we're still arrogant as well . We're confident now that the worst years are over and we're moving forward again , we will get back to winning premierships soon as well , even after been pegged down 15 notches and having to play by the rules as you say .

Just got home from a FANTASTIC day out!!! Took an annual leave day from work to really enjoy the 1st game of the season...started off at the London Tavern, sunk many a beer, went to game, watched a magnificent victory of course and ended up at 3 of Richmonds finest pubs afterwards...

Richmond - we are very average but great to have a win..

Carlton - you are pathetic, nothing more, nothing less!!!

So true Druss . Let them have their fun for now . They played well while in the 2nd half ,which was all I saw , we played very poorly even incompetently and they only won by 30 points .

we lost it in the forward line every time the ball went into our forward line it came out for the simple reasons we kept kicking to contests and no one was breaking the packs to make leads. fevola was pathetic after half time. the first half was great we was leading into space. winning the centreline and our backline was strong well done thornton he played a great game last night without his efforts we would have lost by alot more. carlton needs to learn to win games and the forwards need to find space so the running players can kick to a lead. if i didnt know any better it kinda looked like we tanked the second half or maybe we just aint fit.anyways i cant see us winning many games this year.

Something interesting last night as well. In that 2nd half when Richmond got in front, we were playing like we were 70 points down. Not 1 or 2 goals. Again that falls under the attitude category and something that has to be severely looked at.

they looked completely lost in the 2nd half . No idea whatsoever . seeing players run into each other is embarrasing as well as seeing us constantly losing 3(us) on 1(them) battles .

Hopefully the boys feel the same way and learn to be accountable and hit the contests hard .
