Concerning times ahead down Corio way. Like a 16 year old pubescent kid getting his first glubber behind the tuckshop, the Cats have blown their load too early and will be left disappointed at the pointy end of the season. But this is insignificant when considering the greater picture:

- Their best player is a 35yo who is slowing down at such an alarming rate all he can do is snipe. Alistair Lynch and Matthew Lloyd went through the same and tarnished their well built reputations

- Their second best player is more focused on himself and setting up his media career. Was once the undisputed player in the competition who is now not in the top 5 (Neale, Fyfe, Boak, Cameron and Cripps)

- Their third best player will be playing for the Eagles next year

- Their Captain has fallen off a cliff in recent seasons and has a head like a month-old cabbage

- Their full-forward is a fat plodder who's slower than TyrePixel

- Their best defender will retire at season's end

- Their former coach who prefers the taste of utensil and is dating a ladyboy (lolololol) will be incarcerated which will cause a huge off field distraction

Sure they've got young Gryan and Estava who look alight, but it's easy to look good when you're surrounded by decent players. Even an uber spud like Cameron Mooney won an AA when surrounded by stars. The rest of their youth is a rabble and a result of diabolical trading away picks. Given how unstable Geelong supporters are (see how easily they bite at Tuggerboyz and A Cut Above), there should be genuine concerns about how they'll react when the wheels fall off the wagon.

For everyone else, make yourself comfortable in here and enjoy the demise of that outer-Western cesspool of an organisation

Excellent OP. Analysis is spot on.

Very concerned for the handbaggers.

10am, wakes up, cant stop thinking about the cats, quick, fire up the old PC and let everyone know about it.

All this obsession about the cats is getting seriously out of hand.

Maybe you should’ve been more concerned with Norf..?

So you lay up until 12.30 trying to find some thread to bump because it satisfies the chip on your shoulder about Richmond. Well done on your meaningless existence.
