it is rediculous that nothing has changed, except for the coach, and now we are shit...he has destroyed our defence...we used to have the best in the comp. for years...check the stats. ANd for a strong defender as Ayers was, why don't we man up... when would you see Ayers man get away from him... NEVER.. we have a great side, with class premiership experience. Seems so unfair! Take him back, he has done the job for you guys.

Typical of Croweaters to be so insular and inward looking, wake up to yourself fool. The only reason WCE and Adelaide Crows went so well early was that they got concessions from the AFL to make them competitive. Now you fall on hard times you blame the coach.
Oh yes it is a Victorians fault. You didn't have anything against Blight when he coached the Crows (he was born in Victoria).
I know you people have an inferiority complex about Victoria, even the Sandgropers are more level headed than you lot about the big bad easterners. After all they didn't mind Malthouse as coach for 10 year (2 Flags and 10 years in the finals).
Why dont you go and get Cornes back. We all heard his commentry last weekend against the Demons and all he could do was critise the Adelaide coach. As if he did any better.
We are heartly sick of you lot in Adelaide, count your lucky stars you are in the comp in the first place. The first choice should have been Port. After all they are a real football club with a real culture. Your club has no culture, history, or pride. And now it turns out no heart. For its supposed supporters to turn on the coach because of a couple of media hacks is disgraceful.

Yeah, I know how you feel. Lose to Port and he'll be out the door. He was with the Cats for 5 years and we just went backwards in the end. Dont cry too much when you lose Adelaide, as every loss is a game closer to Ayres being sacked!

I've never been a fan of Judge, his coaching motives and the way he handles himselves to players... but I won't waste my energy going into anymore detail.

Why don't you get Neil Kerley as your coach. He's a true South Australian with a great record for lifting useless no-hoper clubs up the ladder. He's just what Adelaide needs.

Nah not yet, havent started on the vandalism or child bashing. From my best mate...when Ayres was walking off at half time last saturday, he was getting a bath of abuse by all the crows supporters

I find it funny how they always say "we dont abuse our own, we love the coach", yet they call him a w***er and abuse the shit out of him. Pathetic

I'm standing by Ayresy, he's a top coach, with wonderful principles and a great football mind. He's got a very good strategic game plan and he motivates the team well. Gary is a very good communicator and is building up the club for a bit of success now, but ultimately success in the future. With Ayres at the helm, I'm confident the Adelaide Crows are in safe hands.

The thing I don't get is everyone else bags our coach unmercifully, then when some Crow fans agree with those people, you bag us for being unfair to the coach. It very hypocritical I think.

Anyway, my two cents.

Yes I know $4 mill wouldn't have saved them on its own, but add another 4 from WCE, another 4 from Freeo and another 4 from The Power and it still wasn't enough to save Fitzroy.

And my concerns about Ayres were stated well before he even signed as coach so don't go saying I am just Vic bashing. I was one of the few who praised Robert Shaws ability to recognise talent and motivate youngsters while he was here. That legacy earnt us two premierships. He was a Vic wasn't he?? or because I don't bag him he doesn't count does he?

The concessions that WCE & Adelaide received only lasted a couple of seasons and were well and truly over by the time that they won premierships.

Malcolm Blight played his early senior footy with Woodville. That is why South Australian's see him as "one of their own". I personally have nothing against a Victorian coaching. I would've prefered an exeperienced VFL/AFL coach in the early days to that twit Cornes.

Yes and No. For years football supporters in SA and WA were sick of losing players to the VFL and watching once strong competitions standards plummet. The only way to 'keep' players in these states was the pay $4 million dollars for the priveledge of propping up some of the Victorian (and the Swans) based clubs and still some clubs are still on the financial brink (meow).

They have a "culture" not sure if it's a great one. History takes time, how much History did Carlton have in 1880? They had heart when Malcolm Blight was there. Shame they've gone backwards.

Don't most "supporters"? I have to admit that Crows supporters are some of the worst, some abuse on the footy field is OK, but vandalism and harrasment of families is pathetic. The Crows supporters are the reason I stopped going to Crows games and stuck with the SANFL. Port supporters aren't much better behaved. The only difference with them is that a fair percentage already followed football and didn't jump on a bandwagon.
