Wats wrong with Coughlan, Johnson, Brown, Campbell, Tivendale in the midfield? all decent players?
Its not as bad as the bulldogs.

Enright is very versatile, ive seen him play in midfield and in defence (a couple of short stints in attack aswell). He was playing a good defensive game for a while against St.Kilda untill his jaw was broken.

im not saying dont take him, iwould love enright to be at richmond next season, hes still young and we'll get plenty out of him.

Cogs - yes
Sugar Kane - yes

Brown - ok midfielder, outstanding forward

Campbell - past it by a year now and will be lucky to fill a spot in the back pocket

Tivendale - soft as butter left out too long in the sun, a receiver and not a midfielder, fringe midfielder perhaps

you wont win games with such a limited midfield you need atleast 6 players you can rotate and have an impact, you only have to look at Port, West Coast, Brisbane those teams have or have had great midfields.

Our midfield has a few decent players, but nowhere near the depth of quality that you need these days. That's why I'm hoping we can get two of Deledio, Griffen and Tambling with picks 1 and 4.

I agree.

Pick 16, 32 and Enright for Ottens and I would be happy. We would then trade to trade pick 20 to get Simmonds and still have picks 1, 4 and 16.

I suppose the only risk would be that we would not be able to draft a top notch young ruckman with Pick 16. Most of them would have already gone.

We would therefore be relying on a young ruckman slightly below the level of De Luca, Wood, Meeson etc.

cogs and kane are our only true class midfielders, we desperately need more
