I know we lost, but I think we have to take a lot of positives out.

I thought Fixter went great, and is really starting to look good.
Tadgh Kennelly is really coming along now, and other than that brief period when he was beaten by Wirra, he did great, especially in the second half.

I thought Brockman once again did alright, agile player and seems to have great foot skills, another to look forward to.

I thought Fossie tried really hard in his comeback game, and did quite well.

Amon Buchannon on debut I thought was good for his limited opportunities (FINALLY).

I thought when he had the ball, he used it quite well, and did some great things.

I think looking towards years end, some hard decisions are going to have to be made.

I think Dunkley, Schwass, Daffy, Lockett and possible Kelly (not too sure) will all retire.

I still think Cresswell has a bit to offer the side so I don't think that he will be retiring.

Heath James will probably have to go, too many injuries.

I also think Maxfield will be named captain, whether Kelly is playing or not next year.

You know what Mase? I can't disagree with anything you've said there... in fact I was going to post a very similar message to yours!!!

OVERALL it wasn't a great game for the team.. Still too much fumbling.. bad delivery... still not really talking to each other on the field.

But some nice individual touches that are pleasing. You store those as a positive and look forward to the next game.

Which we will hopefully win!

Same old story - can't fault the effort but poor execution costs us.

Daniel Kerr carved us up in the last quarter.

There were some positive signs from the young blokes too.

I am worried about how Scott Stevens isn't being given chances up forward. It seemed to me that he was playing as a tall wingman when he was on the ground in both the Collingwood and West Coast matches. He's kicked 6 goals straight this season and the kicking for goal has been poor in recent weeks, so I'm puzzled as to why he's up the ground.
