Plenty of reason to humour them if it results in you getting $50k a year more from Adelaide and that’s were you want to go.

His m@anger would have spoken to both clubs about interest and indicative contract level. Nothing is ever certain as s**t changes anf the AFL as rules about when agreements can be made. And if it doesn't come off, there'll be a club somewhere that wants him. It's not like it's careee over if he fails to come to terms with an SA club.

If you are selling your house by auction then you will do anything to get 2 motivated bidders competing. This contract is basically determining how much he will make for his whole career since he will be nearly 30 when it ends. I don’t blame him at all and really hope we pony up.
