I feel like people have completely misused the term "choke"

Port just got ahead of themselves and believed their own hype but you cant choke in a game that you didn't even turn up to

My issue with Estia is that the size of their mains are minuscule.

When I was last there they even advise you on their menu that you need to order around 3 to 4 mains for every 2 people.

The food is great, but if you're hungry and wanting a decent sized meal then it'll cost you a fortune.

I must admit when i go there we just order our dishes and we never go away hungry but it is not cheap

There's normally about a 20% bump needed to move up.

Once you get to a top-10 pick, the premium goes up to 50% or more easily.

Eg. in 2018, the Poo traded with Freo and paid about 46% extra
... port 11,23,30,49 = 3060
... for freo 6,2019r3(#45?) = 2098
(I set the Freo 2019r3 pick as 45 as what I might have thought Freo would finish at in 2019 - the pick ended up as 49)

Another is in 2016 where I think Hawks paid about 67% extra to Saints in the trade:

... for haw 23,36,2017r1(15?) = 2429
(I set Hawks to have a high finish in 2017)


Imagine how much it would take to trade for pick 1

Well the 2 best teams played each other. 1 got a leg up as expected and also played well. the other wasn’t good enough on the day.

I think people over complicate this s**t.

yeah.. this is how I see it too really..

port were only playing in the prelim due to the soft draw.. they simply aren't a good enough side to win a GF let alone win through to one..

Now if they had a harder draw, dominated all the other top 4/top 8 teams all season and were 20-30 points up at halftime in their prelim only to collapse in a heap and be overrun in the second half.. yes, you could call it a choke.

Sunday
Brunch - Tom Doedee's place, serving Belgian waffles with a side of bacon
Late Lunch - Matt Crouch hosting with some fancy sandwiches and a few casual beers
Dinner - Matthew Nicks taking him out to a fancy restaurant

Monday
Breakfast - Early rise and a quick bite at a cafe before hitting the water on Ned McHenry's boat with a few of the lads
Lunch - Frying up the fish from McHenry's boat trip with the lads
Dinner - Hamish Ogilvy invites Dawson around to his good home where his good family will serve a classic home cooked meal

Tuesday
Breakfast - No plans, Dawson to find something himself (no Port allowed)
Lunch - Steaks with Reilly O'Brien
Dinner - Full club cook up at West Lakes with all players and staff, full Michelin Star catering, everyone at a huge round table

Hopefully signing the contract at Jarmers. Good Crow man

Dawson to now re-sign with the Swans after achieving his goal of not having to pay for a meal while visiting family in Adelaide. Helps him save some money to buy a house 100 km outside of the Sydney CBD.
