I'd be offering a pick in the 30s or perhaps the compensation for Atkins leaving. No it doesn't
Hately is out of contract and we have the number 1 pick in the PSD, they either accept a moderate deal or he'll walk to us for free.
The fact that we finished bottom puts the Giants in the worst possible position with this and what also hurts them is that Hately hasn't exactly set the world on fire thus far so his value is low.
We'll most probably give them Pick 20 in a take it or leave it scenario.
wasnt he hired because he was the only one who knew how to use kangatechI'm assuming we have a replacement.
I thought Saunders was meant to be a great appointment
they wait for burgess he can sack hass
bring in burgo over the top - just add senior or "head of" to hass' title and then burgo sack hass week 1. or they just sack him hes been a disasterHass is the one holding the position Burgess would fill.
We had to create a position for Saunders when he came in, effectively bridging High Performance and Medical/Physio, an area that the High Performance manage should comfortably cover in the first place, but clearly wasn't.
Fair enough, it certainly is low risk. Maybe I just don’t like low risk options, Its not something I’ve ever really gone for.
assuming we end up with him I hope you are right and he improves rapidly, and also that we don’t give up anything much to get him.
I'm waiting for the "Burgess doesn't want to leave Melbourne for family reasons" announcementHass is the one holding the position Burgess would fill.

High ranked teams compo bands are rounded down & lower ranked teams are rounded up... as part of the AFL's equalisation strategy... which is why the guidelines are vague.Depending how the AFL is feeling, we may or may not get band 3 (2nd rd), but unlikely. They wouldn't want to give us a leg up.
"AFL has since explained that the points allocated (based on age & average $$$), fell just short of the points required for the awarding of a 1st Rd pick in 2019."

Pretty much what he was doing after Burton and Hass ****ed up the teams strings, but before he was brought on in a full time role thenmake Saunders a part-time consultant to work with players like McPherson on specialist medical areas like hamstring issues, then hire a new head of fitness to properly manage that department
Not feeling that great after tonightJames Rahilly from Geelong as a new assistant/development coach.
Likely forwards coach. It is his current role at Geelong.
According to everyones mate Caro on AA tonight.
Maybe we only got it for Brad...and he's leaving nowSo. We paid a sh*t load for kangatech. Supposedly it was revolutionary in being able to judge the loads on players in the gym and allowing us to push the limits there.
Burton put it together but had the instructions upside down when he put it together.
Disaster ensued.
We go, fu** that, and get the bloke who designed it in to oversee its use.
Didnt help, didnt hinder.
I get the feeling this kangertech is no more than hyperbole.
Saunders record in sports injury management is very good. Designing fangled gadgets to give us an edge? Not so much.
We gave it plenty of time to see if it worked.
Money wasted, move on.
Get em running in sand dunes in the preseason. KISS!
They kicked 5-12Not feeling that great after tonight
That's true. Hawkins effectively lost the game for themThey kicked 5-12
It seems like that doesnt it. Saunders was the groin guru.Maybe we only got it for Brad...and he's leaving now
