So I'm off to Perth for the holidays, if I run into Mitch Brown while I'm in the west I'll tell him not to pay attention to the rumours about AG, but that vonn still loves him and wants him to play for Sydney. That should scare him into signing a new deal with the Eagles quick smart ;) [/jokes]

Seriously, merry Christmas to you all, hope you have a great one. It's been an amazing year, I still have to keep reminding myself that WE WON! Hope 2013 provides many more happy memories!

Fitness first or Anytime fitness?
I know how much Platinum FF is annually but I can't find pricing info for AF so waiting to hear back from them, unless you guys have any idea? Think it differs by location too.
I'll probably just be lazy and go FF for the pool and classes. Any of you use either of these though? Thoughts?

Fitness First is fine until you try to leave. I go to a 24 hour gym, prefer going really late at night.

On the main board mods, I just reckon it's great they can't just quote the rule broken, but have to get the last word in too.

How come?
I've been to the dee why one and I enjoyed their facilities when I went for like a month. Classes were good too.
There very inflexible and jack up their membership price's often meaning if your paying by the month you get slugged with the increase as well.

Class times can be shifted without notice and trainers subbed in and out.
If your unhappy with anything they do they won't help you in the slightest they only want your money.

They cost my mate (and his clients) a lot of money when they decided to shift his class time as his regulars couldn't make it and his new time slot was bringing in next to nothing despite the fact that not only did he want to do his class at the same time his clients did but the course they replaced it with didn't bring in as many clients the gym refused to budge.

When he walked away his clients had to take legal action to be released from their membership's.

Additionally some fitness first gyms have been in trouble before for refusing to take cash then signing people up for auto renewal without consent.

Agreed with others on Fitness First. Not quite flexible enough in a few ways.

Cheaper options around if all you want is weights and cardio stuff.
