Well for any of you that are into cycling, tonight saw the first ever Tour de France stage win by Aussie team Orica GreenEdge. Awesome effort with an attempt to take the King of the Mountains jersey before Simon Gerrans showed the highly fancied Peter Sagan up to take the stage win in a photo finish. Is 1 am too early in the morning to crack a can?

Haven't decided on dinner tonight? Might want to try this out. This weeks episode of Healthy Eating.

Great stuff, we used to have a recipe thread and I think I remember a couple of people teasing bonzaburgers about his risotto not having any meat in it, it was a great recipe however no chirozo, no chicken even one chef suggested snails.. This recipe is Ryan O'Keefes pre game meal I thought it interesting that there was no meat at all. A lesson for young players..
I always had pasta before a game but it was lasagne or spaghetti both had meat, Bonz might have been onto something years ago, all 45kg's of him lol

ROK's channel is amazing!!!

And no matter what the night before I have a competition I always avoid meat, Generally eat pasta or a risotto... Planning on trying ROOK's new recipe for a comp at the end of the month.

With a name like bonzaburgers its strange you don't eat much meat, that thread was fun however a lot of the recipe's were very nice to eat but weren't exactly healthy, ROK's all are. Not sure they will put much weight on though something I remember you asking about.

I do a bit of cycling and also try to avoid meat, particularly red meat the night before a race. Mainly look for brown rice in a fried rice type meal or a vegetable pasta. If you look at the Orica GreenEdge channel on you tube, they have been doing some videos on what the cyclist have been eating each night during the tour. Admittedly, there is a fair bit of protein to aide recovery so big focus on chicken.

Haha I still eat meat, I just avoid it the day before a competition.

I'm up to 68 kilos now but nowhere near as fit as I used to be... Trying to get fit all over again is actually quite hard.

And agreed it would be a great thread to bump if we can find it.

Heart stopping finish, then switched to the Melbourne game for another heart stopper. Now over to the Le Tour which is hopefully an Orica Green Edge victory in a final sprint!

Since you are a keen cyclist and are even posting recipe's from the tour I assume you are watching it as much as you can.
I have a surfing buddy that flew to Europe at the start of the week, both he and his very attractive girlfriend have costumes and will be running with the group during the Sunday session, pretty sure its a mountain stage so they can keep up, not sure what time that is for us?
Anyway watch for a big intoxicated bearded bloke dressed as a Nun chasing a very hot chick dressed as a convict, both carrying Australian flags.. They assure me they aren't gonna be one of those flogs that get in the riders faces though..,
If you do happen to see them please take note of channel and time or even better somehow get a screen grab for me, to be honest Im not actually sure what that even means..

Have it on series link record just in case i fall asleep so I am sure I'll be able to find them if they are on a mountain and in a prominent position. Tour broadcast is on SBS from 10pm each night and will usually finish up between 1 and 1.30am.

I watched a bit of it last night but fell asleep I didn't catch them, I couldn't believe how many flogs dressed up and ran with them has there always been so many?

Just on international events, everyone feeling sorry for the Australian woman who got gored in the running of the bulls.. Am I the only one barracking for the bulls?
