Talking Footy...

Why do they bother showing this show in WA? I think there is a law on that show that they cant speak about Fremantle or West Coast ever?? I bet if Ben Cousin karate kicked an umpire in the head and Gardiner stormed up the race into the opposition's coaching box and beat the crap out of the oppositions coach....we still wouldnt get talked about.

Probably Jod because not everyone in WA barracks for the weagles or the dockers.

The people that barrack for Vic sides like watching a show that talks about non WA side,s unlike that crap show that started last night hosted by Commetti where they just concentrate on WA sides.

LOL...Get off it Mantis....you dont think there is Eagles and Dockers fans in melbourne who wouldnt mind watching Cometti Live or Basil's Footy Show...but no they dont get shown over there. Talking Footy is crap and i dont know why they show it in Perth.

I think it is agood show and enjoy the fact that they dont often venture into items regarding the two teams in Western Australia... why would they at the moment anyway?

It gives a more rounded perspective on what is going on in football and sometimes things that seem top issue here are really not that much chop in the grand scheme of things. What was it that you were expecting to here? Judd...Rising Star? Matera...filthy sod? Ben and Charlie in detox?

Sheeds is coming up for his 500th game... and his team are up against the reigning premiers this weekend. I think that deserves a fair bit of their attention and not two teams from WA that finished 14th and 16th last season.

Evcourse Cometti Live and Basils footy show are going to concentrate on WA teams. THEY ARE LOCALLY PRODUCED AND LOCALLY TELECASTED SHOWS IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA!

Talking Footy is a nationally broadcasted show. It should at least give mention to a few of the interstate teams, not just the reigning premiers.

Both Freo and WCE had two games this week which were very exciting and WCE/Collingwood probably contested for game of the round, but still not a word.

They probably didn't mention the game because,

a) To spite Eddie and Channel 9.
b) Because the game had a team which wasn't from the great state of Victoria.

Oh by the way... I swear I could see tears in Mcavaneys eyes.. I bet he was thinking, "I wish I still commentated footy".

My point Rollin...wasnt that they didnt talk about the WA teams in that episode, its the fact that they NEVER mention them. Ive never seen an episode of Talking Footy actually talk about either WA team, Adelaide teams get no coverage either. Its a stupid program.

personally, I don't think there is a decent show about footy on TV here in the West.....

Talking Footy bores me, The Footy show is total rubbish.....

Best thing for me to do is rewind the video tape and watch the Mothers Day massacre of 1995.....I could watch that forever.....

NEVER mentioned?... c'mon! now you're just being silly.

If you find it stupid, boring or that it doesnt deliver what you want to see...choose not to watch it. There are other folk in the west that get something out of it.
