I would bet so much money that you would be more than happy give a 5"10 guy a chance if he had every other quality in life held down to a tee. The better question in this scenario is whether he would give you the chance :thumbsu:
 
FFS, Indie's taller than me and he's like 12 :(

IMO medium is best. By indie's standard I'm medium, but only barely (judging by the last time I was measured anyway). I think the standard is wrong TBH, anything below 175cm is short.

So, if you were out in a club you would be perfectly happy to hook up with a fat girl, or something you happened to find unattractive just because "she had every other quality in life held down to a tee"?
I'm sorry but phsycial attraction is important when I want to hook up.

An obese girl's face is always going to be unattractive and thus she will usually be physically rejected by a guy that is adamant in this belief of 'fat' girls.

A guy that's 5"10, yet has a face adored by the general female population, fit body, dresses the way you like him to, great smile, alpha personality, and charms you off your feet (first impressionable qualities in a club atmosphere) is going to be able to hook up with you. You say you wouldn't, but I know you would.

Claims like yours are all too commonly proven wrong, and I've seen it done too many times to believe otherwise. You can be the typical female that says, "nope not me", but I condescendingly, arrogantly, and knowingly, brush this aside. Evidence speaks louder than claims that are all too often put to rest.

How often do you meet these guys though? It is EXTREMELY rare you will meet someone with all these qualities. So until then I'll stick with tall guys :):heart:

This is true. You can't blame height solely for your problems unless your under 160cms. Dress well, keep in good shape, not be boring as batshit and it isn't a big problem.

I'm 5'11. It's okay, but I wish I was a couple of inches taller... my girlfriend is 5'9 and has a penchant for ridiculous heels.

My dad is 6'2 and I think that's pretty much the ideal height.

6'1 and happy with that. Over average height and taller then 95% of females (not that it matters since I've had a 5'4 wife for 7 years now), but not tall enough to stand out.

Girls will nearly always date a guy taller then them, a guy has to do something to stand out if he's shorter. Sure there'll be exceptions, but there's a reason for something called little man syndrome.

Without trying to sound racist the only ones I generally ever see that break this rule are Asians dating each other where there doesn't seem to be as strong a height difference between sexes as their does for Whites/Blacks.

So I'm not voting as my ideal height would be medium-tall. Over average, but not overly tall.

To be fair, I'm willing to bet that's because a lot of them suffer from small man syndrome. It's always the short, ripped guys who start trouble I find. You don't see beanpoles looking to punch on, they're usually pretty mild mannered and affable.

Tall is definitely better, but it's probably the one aspect of physical attractiveness I don't mind compromising on. Plenty of guys regarded as extremely attractive are well under 6 feet. Short isn't as bad a handicap as having crooked teeth, or bad skin, or being overweight.
