Trouble is, you (deliberate) have gone to the footy today having it in for Tambling big time, and waiting (wanting) the mistakes to keep on comming thick and fast.

You have spent the entire time focusing on the things he didnt do rather than the quality things he did do. I bet we could focus on 75% of footballers in the league and pick the same faults.

And what do you expect to achieve with all this rabid hatred of him? Do you think the Richmond coaching staff will read it, and drop him next week, then trade him at the end of the year?

I bet it they did read this they would just laugh at your ill informed, uneducated and ridiculous assessment, then just forget about you forever.
Yeh, all made up....by me....and the camera!!

No Bazaar......let's take your line of thinking and give him another 3 years cause he took a falling mark behind a dumb ass opposition player.
That's the Richmond standards of old....yeh that's a ripper....great.

deliberate your a tool. you are the type of supporter who goes to the game ready and wanting to bag the players. i can see it now it would go like this when the ball gets kicked in our forward line and nathan brown fumbles you'd be the type to scream and bag him, then a minute later he'd kick a goal and you would tell everyone around you he's your favourite player!! why you support the club is beyond me. STOP POSTING YOUR CRAP AND SAVE US HAVING TO READ YOUR DRIBBLE . ty

Does it look like it's a chasing situation?

You idiot. It's a Hodge special, barrelling through the centre, getting an outside handball and a stationary Bling having to throw himself out.

How is that not a defensive effort you criticise him for, no one else in that exact same situation could stop Hodge in that situation. No one.

You're a ____head.

He a good player ,,,, what do you want him to do ?

in 2 years time whats he going to be like ?

hate to play against him !

footy is like a circle

other teams in the comp are getting older ,syd, crows, dockers,

we are starting to take shape ......

lids 22
tamb 22
foley 22
moore 22
will 22
king 24
edwards 20
polo 21
pato 22
jakson 22
jack 19

any thoughts

I beleive he will be our most important midfielder by the end of the year, he is already starting to have periods were he dominates play and his defensive preasure is up there with the best all this before he is 22.

Tired of Tambling being a "spark" player... or continuing to be the one that got us back in the game!

Only clarifies that he is too inconsistent and cant own a game from the outset. Nowhere near as damaging as others make out he is.

I would show some patience with Bling; yes he is developing slower and will reach his potential later than Franklin, but he is developing nevertheless. He's off to a good start this season so lets wait till Rnd 11 and re-assess him along with the rest of the squad. :thumbsu:

Go Tigers

I dont know if people have noticed but Tambling has played very minimal time and is still ave 18 touches and a goal a game.
For example against the Hawks he only played 65% of the game and still racked up 18 touches. It has been like this all year where he is spending less then 80% of the time on the ground. Once he spends 90-95% he will be getting over 20 touches in every game.
We have seen in the past 3 games how damaging he can be. Has been in our top 5 this year easily.
Reminds me of Foley the year before he had his breakout year.
Will be our best midfielder by the end of the year, bookmark it.
He has been very good this year.
Is finally showing why he went so high and will only get better and it is all because he has played in his natural position ( Midfield).
Him and Lids are both having impacts.:thumbsu:

Geez, I thought we were harsh on him...you guys take it to another level.

The one time we were genuinely threatened, and beaten in the middle, it was Tambling and Tuck that asserted themselves on the contest. Tambling won 5 of the first 6 (or maybe 2-7) centre clearences. That sort of dominance we 'expect' from one of Mitchell/Hodge/Sewell once a game, and for you guys, it was Tambling (and to a lesser extent Tuck) that did it.

FWIW prior to the weekend I held King and Foley in pretty high regard, without seeing a lot of either player - conversely I thought Tambling was a bit of a spud. I acknowledge how little one game means in the overall picture, but I had never considered Tambling an inside ball-winner (Mitchell), more an outside runner (Bateman). That changed this weekend, and now I'm beginning to think perhaps it was just a matter of developing physically...I hope the mental scarring he's encountered won't hinder his development any further.
