I dont think he needs to be dropped keeping his feet is something that comes with confidence this is true but I think being dropped would slap his morale hard just look at JON for example. He needs to be given a different role and needs a real go at it he seems to be used as a bit player I say put him in the forward pocket tell him start your leads from deep and run hard and keep it in best you can.

Good call. I'm a huge Tambling fan and even I can see that at his present stage in development the centre square is not where he's going to get his biggest boost from. Tambling's all about confidence and at this stage imo he needs to be in a position where he can accomodate himself to handling the footy and running unabaided - the centre square is the final step in his development. A half back position would be perfect for Tambo at this stage to get comfortable with taking them on and breaking lines. He's a massive positive to our side if we handle his development correctly, he could easily be the best indigenous midfielder in the comp if he got his head sorted. He will be a gun midfielder going on my personal observations - IF he's given some freedom at this crucial stage.

But no, he kicks one out on the full and sprays the other, he should of nailed that out on the full kick he had no one around him and it would have halted the bombers run.

Is it wrong to presume our top 4 pick should have enough quality in his game to ice those shots? We keep hearing about the massive amount of skill he has but put some pressure on him and he stuffs it up.

I want richard to show more consistancy in his game, he cant deliver over 4 quarters and thats frustrating. The best part of his game today was when he let Deledio use him as a step ladder.

He usually would have nailed both those shots and his kicking today was poor on a few occasions, but it wasn't a bad game from him today. He does need to lift a bit after the last few performances though.

My point was not the fact that he missed the goals but the fact some people only notice players when they kick a goal....

Especially 4 years in. Maybe for the first year or two, the expectations will naturally be very high but we can't hold it against him forever. Anyway, he's still in the top 10 out of that draft and has a lot of improvement left in him.

I agree with Mario again on this one.

Wallace won't drop Tambling for two reasons.
1) He is in our best 22 all bet only just at times , but has more ability and up side than other players in this position.
2) The next 6 weeks are so important for Richies development playing seniors , rather than running around racking up possessions for Coburg. We've got some big games coming up. I'd rather Richie playing the Hawks and us being a mild shot at the finals rather than rolling around for the Burgers. It's the big occassions that will make him better.

Get him on the back flank and let the kid run , run , run and hopefully not drop off tackles like he does regularly.
