Tampling or Sylvia?

Pretty simple really, Who would you rather have in your side Richard Tampling or Colin Sylvia?

Hope you genuinely mis-typed Tambling's name.

Sylvia has probably played a few for impactful games, ie kicked 3-4 goals a handful of times, but neither player has probably lived up to their draft position. Sylvia is fortunate though as the 2003 draft has been widely looked upon as fairly shallow. Farren Ray at #4 will never haunt Sylvia like poor Ritchie has to put up with by having Franklin at #5.

I rate both players, but it's pretty hard to go past Sylvia in my view.

I really thought the Tambling had improved toward the end of last season, but obviously he hasn't just gone backwards. Very big draft mistake by the Tigers this one, Tambling has the talent but I doubt he has the hunger and desire to play AFL, sad to see someone so talented going backward every season.

I haven't seen Tambling play yet this year, so I don't know how he's going, but some his decision making in previous years, at times, has been absolutely shocking.

Saw Tambling live in round 1 and he is genuinely terrible. Seems to have made close to no improvement over the past few seasons. I just wonder whether it would be best for both Tambling and the Richmond Football Club if they were to part ways at the end of season 2010, because really, he is going nowhere on the field.

Tambling had a solid finish to last season.

First half against Carlton he had 2 disposals to his direct opponents having 23.

Sylvia for me at the moment. Although I still think Richie has a heap of improvement. Plays his best footy on the HBF or HFF but Hardwick is playing him as a mid again.

yeah but in terms of actually doing some damage in a match there is quite a bit in it

Statistics never tell the whole story mate. Been over this with you in another thread. Sylvia damages the opposition with his disposals.
