I just dont like to see Suma bagged without being given a shot. Personally I think CC has a better footy mind but I think it has got to the stage where that message isnt striking a chord with the players.

Personally, I have alot of time for Connelly. I think the Freo players have to be more accountable for their performances.

You can bag me for being a WC supporter talking about the Freo coaching position if you want but the truth of the matter is that I know alot about Freo footy club. I know Freo just as well as I know West Coast. And just because I dont support Freo does not mean i cant have an opinion on the club.

Thats a bit unfair. He made a fair comment and did not bag your club once. Why be so bitter about it? Since when has there been a rule where you cant make a comment on a different club besides the once that you support? Fair enough if its just trolling or whatever, but if its a valid point why not? Fair comments from other suppporters I always find welcome on the Eagles board.

What is Tana's interest in the FFC. Is he a supporter, member, is he on the board already I wouldn't have a clue?
If I remember correctly there are only ~4 places on the board that are member elected, is this correct?
Im assuming the rest are appointed by the WAFC, is this correct?

Tana isn't currently on the board.

Only 2 board positions are elected by members. If Tana was to run he would be unsuccessful.

WAFC appoint 2 board members, and need to sign off on any other appointments.

The thing that I find interesting in all of this is that IF Sumich is as good as his supporters claim him to be, why is it that he needs to be associated with a 'ticket' in order to get him a job?

Some Freo fans have been dismayed for a number of years due to the friendship between Connolly and Schwab. Surely this would be a worse scenario, having board members clearly coming in supporting the appointment of a specific coach?

I can't understand that Sumich has not had the smarts to come out and deny any knowledge of this rumour or any association with Tana as far as the FFC is concerned.
