To both you and Kane then Fergus.

I've posted the likely results of the next 6 games IMO.

I can only see us winning one of those on current form, and that win will cost the priority pick.

If you and Kane think we will win more games than the Richmond game, could you please specify which ones you think are they.
I think we are a chance in the Kangaroos and Geelong games, particularly the Kangaroos. Both are homes games and whilst we are playing a superior opposition we are always a chance there.

Don't get me wrong, I would be happy to lose the remaining games, get a priority pick, get rid of Craig and take on Terry Wallace. Unfortunately I just can't see it happening, although with Craig's coaching we are a chance.

Macca, I agree with Fergus that we are likely to win against Cats &/or Roos at home.

On the showdown, Fergus weren't we saying something similar before the last showdown?! NEVER give up on winnign a showdown before it's played!

Kane - we will be lucky if we finish with Port's half time score let alone beat them. They are as good as any team in the comp and given our injuries etc at the moment we are in the lower rungs.

IMO we won't go winless before that though so the priority pick will be gone.

That's crap. Showdowns are always competitive no matter where the teams are on the ladder. Average players lift just that little bit. It will be a tight match.

As for tanking the Richmond game...they might be trying just as hard!

I had visions of that when I was posting on this thread.

It didn't make for a pretty game!! :D

Players missing set shots from 15 metres out straight in front.

Players unable to hit a team-mate's chest from 15 metres away.

Players hand-balling directly to their opponent.

Players dropping chest marks that would have been swallowed by an U/9.

And that's with both teams trying to win. :D :p

As I have said If there is a team that is genuinely looking to tank games it's Richmond.

With all the injuries at St Kilda, Blind Freddy should have been able to conjour up a win - but no, not only beaten but thrashed!!!

Tanking is something that we should not do and if we are honest Craig has a winning mentalty and he is trying to pass that on the players. Now what I want us to do is play the youngsters and play to win. If the youngster even get a slightest of hints that the club wants to tank this season then that sends them a very wrong message.

Play the youngsters and play to win. Chances are we won't apart from teh Richmond game. Imagine if both teams are o 5 wins going into that game and they want to tank it so badly but it eventually ends in a draw and a loss of priority picks for both :p

Sounds like a game at the Euros between 2 Scandinavian teams! :p
