hmm the only person I'd want from richmond would be Shane Edwards now he's talent if not him just draft picks cos all the other players aren't good enough!
I'm sure you would say NO to Brown, Foley, Bowden etc.

Ah, realistic tiger. The thing is - we don't HAVE to trade Meesen to the Tigers.
He's talking about players you'd actually consider trading.

i agree - he is out of contract and since we are odd's on for the spoon - we can offer him a better deal than the crows will offer him and get him for free - hopefully meyer pull his finger out and starts performing - and we can keep him
Go to the RFC board and look at the Coburg game review. There were a few people very happy with Meyer today, myself included.I don't see what you're seeing Drummond. I watched the 1st half of Coburg vs Northern Bullants and Meyer did F-all. Got maybe 2 touches? He did receive a knock, came off but went back on. He was crap. His other game I saw was crap. It was wet, slippery and you had to put your body on the line to win the ball. I didn't see Meyer do that. It was a very scrappy game. What Meyer does is hang off packs and hopes the ball will come free so he can get the loose ball. On these really wet and muddy attrocious conditions you can't do that. If you are a receiver type, you need something special about you. Meyer doesn't really have that. He doesn't look like a natural footballer. You could tell he wasn't at the bottom of the packs much- Everyone else's jumper was all muddy and dirty while his was still clean, just like new. He doesn't have the footy brain to succeed at AFL level. Dale Thomas is a receiver type, hangs off packs, but he does at times go for the hard ball. Meyer doesn't seem to do it. He doesn't have the freakish ability of Thomas- he might but I haven't seen it yet. I would be peeved if we traded Meyer for Meese. Both probably have under-performed and both have been struggling to play VFL/SANFL. But Meese is ruckman, they don't grow on trees especially ruckman with his mobility. They take much longer and I would rather be waiting for Meese to devlop than Meyer.

10 posessions, 4 marks and plenty of body to body work in the slush. He must've improved a TONNE in the 2nd half. He had no impact in the 1st half whatsoever.

Doesn't sound like much but he moves like a good footballer its just that too often he positions himself just out of the contest and not far enough away to receive. This could be a turning point? Has Meeson played yet this weekend?
Yep, I think we both have him down patI think he played today. Check our SANFL thread this round. I got no idea how Meese played cause I live in Melbourne though. I only watched the 1st 2 quarters and he was crap. DIdn't get anywhere near the ball and had no impact. It's good to hear he had a better 2nd half though, tagging Iaccobucci who was on fire. He seems to drift in and out of games a lot, am i correct? Yeah. I was watching him closely, number 22. He positions himself right beside the contest, not really receiving but not really in there for the hard ball. I wasn't really impressed with his 1st half but he improved in the 2nd half which is good to see.![]()
