They both left the club for four seasons to play elsewhere, then they both came back again. Who had more impact in their career with Collingwood?
Beams had a Premiership medal, and has a Copeland. His 2012 season was stellar. Poetry in motion. Tarrant Kicked 350+ goals, was a magnificent mark, and a great defender. He also played almost 100 games more than Beams.

Not sure how this is even a question.

Beams.

He was just an all round great clubman who always put the clubs best interest at heart before his own. Like Pendlebury, a truly respected selfless individual with many characteristics and leadership qualities that commanded respect amongst his teammates and peers in the industry.

Class act all the way with much integrity.

Will be sorely missed what he brings to the club off the field.

Tarrant.
Saw out both spells with us and even matured upon his second coming.

Beams will polarize and divide opinion whereas Tarrant will always be loved and respected by all here.

So your answer is Tarrant?

Because Beams is a Premiership player pal.
So what? That has nothing to do with his ability or impact on the club. Particularly since he was a bit player in that game, no more impactful than Blair.

I demand a new sarcasm meter. You just broke mine.

So now you are comparing Beams to Blair?. Maybe you’re missing the point.
The point of the comparison is that both Tarrant and Beams left for the same period of time, and both were very good footballers.

I’m not missing anything, you’re missing the point with the Blair bit. Being a premiership player doesn’t automatically elevate you above other players.
Tarrant did more for the club by a country mile. It’s not even a contest.
