Tarrant to Brisbane for Aka and a young midfielder (don't know the name of the player).

Makes sense if you consider that Pies could then move Aka to the bulldogs in exchange for another midfielder...

Depends upon the player and what we could on-trade Aker for. Aker's only worth a third round pick so the player would want to be Selwood. There aint too many young mids Brisbane I'd want, and whatever they have, they'd be desperate to keep. Their midfield is just as desperate as ours for quality, while their forward line with Bradshaw and Brown is fine.

I cant see how you can call it a win-win when you cant name the player and you dont know the on-trade value of Akermanis.

IMO, the only way Taz will leave is if we get a trade we can't refuse. So I don't think he will leave, as I don't believe other clubs will give up a lot for him.

Its my personal opinion on the true value of 30 year olds, especially ones with big mouths. If Brisbane get any more than a third rounder for Aker they are ripping the Bulldiogs off.

There seems to be a new thread opened every day, I am eagerly awaiting the news of Tarrant to Port to replace Tredrea, Tarrant to Richmond, North, Freo etc.

I hope he doesn't leave the club, and if he is to leave it better be for a bloody good deal. He doesn't seem to want to leave, so why trade him unless we are clearly coming out winners?

I agree with that. I wouldn't be trading a first- or second-rounder for a player of Aker's age and temperament.

Probably the worst fan behaviour I've ever seen was Melbourne supporters booing Wowoedin. They sacked him, despite him desparately wanting to continue in the red and blue! Very poor form that.
