Well, we can write next year off, & probably the year after as well, superdraft or not, they won't be ready to make a real impact for a few years, would have happily traded Tarrant for a) Physical, mobile ruckman, or b) fast, skilful midfielder. Whats been proposed will not help us in the short or medium term

i cant believe it pick 13 and medhurst.what a f ing joke.they have caved in again grow some f ing balls collingwood.no membership next year they can get f ed.they were meant to get a first rd pick and a good up and coming young player but instead we get a late first rd pick and a f ing dud who wont be at the club in 2-3 years

Thats allright the club doesn't really need people like you as members if you are going to be like that. I reckon 13 is pretty fair on its own . I would have like more but injuries or no injuries taz has done very little for 3 years. He is a good player and nothing more. This may also go a long way to helping some of the cultural problems as it sends a strong message to the other players. If we happen to draft a young gun who shows real promise early next year I reckon the whingers will get back on the bandwagon pretty quickly.
clubs always come out and ask for more then they are probably going to get . Its called bartering . You start high and then try and find middle ground.
If we used the pick poorly then criticise in a few years time but this talk of the club getting f'd really p!sses me off.

That deal isn't what I was hoping for, but not as bad as it could've been.
Pick 8 & 10 could get us a KPP & mid, or 2 mids.
Hope we don't stuff up on the draft now.

Happy and disappointed with the trade. Happy with pick 8 hoping Selwood lasts that long but doubt it. Not sure why Medhurst though. Even with Didak injured (when he comes back has to play forward cos he won't have fitness for midfield) we have Leon, Thomas etc that play similar roles. Would of prefered a midfielder but have to wait and see with the draft now.
