It might just be me, but Tarrant's performance (or lack thereof) looked alot like he did often last year...

It was well publicised (after the season) that he carried various injuries throughout the year. Is it possible he's a bit sore at the moment?

I think it is a bit hard when you are carrying Joel Smith on your back every single time you attempt a mark.

Having said that you would have thought you would move him out of the goalsquare.

I was more concerned with MM putting Didak at full back in the 3rd quarter.

...Yeah I spose Smith was all over him like a rash. What does he have to do to get a free kick inside 50?

What does anyone have to do to get one inside 50.

Jason Cloke was another that was r*ped up the arse by the bald **** McLaren.

Had a feeling he'd have a bad day - nothing was going right and he was hardly pounded with quality delivery. Ah well first shocker of a game for him 12 rounds in. I'll take that.

What do you guys think of swapping Bucks and Tazz in a situtation like yesterday, put Tazz in the middle and Bucks up forward. It couldn`t have it any worse than it was could it?

Being at the game I watched Taz quite a bit.
The ball came no where near him for most of the day.
When it did he was crowded out - by his own team mates.
He was NOT one of our guys that let us down. The ball never came anywhere near him.

No look at the likes of our much praised midfielders for not getting the ball to Taz. Only two of them performed anywhere near their potential. O'Bree and Holland. The rest including Bucks were lost all day.

I can also say this, from the start of the game we looked flat. I knew we were in trouble very early on. When players refuse to chase - Cloke, Woey, Presti, Leon, Rocca, McGough and I could name more - we were in deep do do's.

Tarrant in the middle is a good idea in those conditions
Buckley at FF is almost always a no-go. I've never seen him perform well in the goalsquare. Better of trying another small/medium option - Burns, Holland, Williams, Didak, Molloy or even Clement.

Its quite simple really.

-Taz hates wet weather.

-Joel Smith has beaten him quite well before.

-Crap delivery

-Being confined to stay in the F50 to limit Smiths drive and creativity which he does well.
