Chris Tarrant will be playing game 150 on Friday Night against the Bulldogs. Debuting in 1998, he had a slow start but his 2001-03 seasons were just awesome to watch as the youngster grew to be one of the best at Victoria Park. Criticised throughout his career of not having enough heart and not putting in the hard yards, benchmarked from a sign early in his career that he might give up AFL footy, he has shown us he is back to his best, and his on-field performances have been seen by fans not just indicated by how many goals he has kicked. His second efforts (and third) have been noticable and is becoming one of the leagues most damaging forwards yet again, if only he could kick straight.

Good Luck to Taz, and 150 games in the black and white is a fair achievement. Can't wait till 200 when playing in a few years time in the same colours.

likewise he is over due for a big game goal wise i think and i still think he will be having a few big ones over the next couple of weeks

Well done, Taz. :thumbsu:

I don't listen to what people say about you, in my eyes you're a brilliant footballer.
Agreed.

Have never seen a forward (maybe besides Carey) have so much work ethic, and endurance to get the ball. His 150m leads are fantastics and thats why backman hate playing on him, coz he works hard, and runs runs runs.

Well Done Chris.

hopefully can have a day out against the doggies!!

by the way cassius if u like the party, have a listen to "we are scientists" a top group from brooklyn, have taken over from bloc party in me car....awesome album!!

Congrats to Taz, he a modern forward who works very hard and his running down the lines often goes un-noticed. He is important to our side and lets hope he kicks a few against the dogs, he needs to lift for us to have a good win and put the dogs under pressure.

LOV YA TAZ

Good on ya Taz.
For years you have been slaughtered by the unacceptible kicking to you into the forward line. Now you have the boys there to deliver it.
Go well, matey.

Is that why in recent years he has been up the ground more like a wing/flanker instead of at the traditional full forward position - so he doesn't have dills mongrelling* the ball to him. I think he got fed up with it and decided to do something about it, good on him

*is that a word? you know what I mean

good luck on your 150th game TAZ and hope you and the boys play like last week and thrash the BULLIES tonight go PIES!!!
