Tarryn Thomas has been charged with a single count of threatening to distribute an intimate image.

In addition, Thomas was stopped by police while driving with a suspended licence during the Christmas break.

The club has informed the AFL’s Integrity Unit and the AFLPA on both matters and the club will continue to work with Thomas regarding behavioural expectations.

North Melbourne will not make any further comment at this time.

The maximum for this offence in Vic is 1 year imprisonment.

Without any details on the severity of this case, repeated nature, type of threats then it’s all guess work but you would assume some type of good behaviour bond and contact restrictions towards the victim at a minimum (assuming found guilty of course).

Anyway, the first charge is a massive scumbag thing to do, the second is meh and barely news worthy
