I’m not sticking up for the AFL here but if these other women didn’t want the Police involved it probably does limit what the AFL could do.

Same as when De Goey was accused of something and a few days later he's running around on Friday Night Footy. You've got commentators tripping over their words and not knowing what to say when he gets the ball, all the focus on him... it's ridiculous, nobody should have been put in that situation and forced to commentate on that circus. Bruce got in trouble from memory and he's the most experienced commentator in the country. He's not a lawyer or PR maestro though.

The only way to deal with it is stand the player down until the matter is finished. In the NRL that's sometimes meant years. So be it, the league is bigger than an individual.

No fault stand down along the same lines as the NRL, which would mean stood down with pay until the matters are settled. It's difficult to draw a line as to when such a rule would apply though.

Well I'm not privy to his upbringing, not making excuses as he's threatened women and would seem he has also been violent. So yeah maybe you're correct and he's done for good.

He actually really hasn't been that good on the field, lazy af tbh. What's he average around 14 disposals and .8 goals. Dime a doz those types.
How the heck he got a 750k pa contract has me scratching my head.
